Everybody's doin a brand new dance now
Come on baby, do the locomotion
I know you'll get to like it if you give it a chance now
Come on baby, do the locomotion...

My little baby sister can do it with ease
It's easier than learnin your ABC's
So come on, come on, do the locomotion with me...
You gotta swing your hips now
Come on baby, jump up,hmmmm jump back...
Well I think youve got the knack

Now that you can do it, lets make a chain now
Come on baby, do the locomotion
A chuga-chuga motion like a railway train
Come on baby, do the locomotion...

Do it nice and easy so you dont lose control
A little bit of rhythm and a lot of soul
So come on, come on, do the locomotion with me...

Do the locomotion...
Do the locomotion...
Yay, yay, yay, yeah...

Move around the floor in a locomotion
Come on baby, do the locomotion
Do it holding hands like you got the notion
Come on baby, do the locomotion...

There's never been a dance thats so easy to do
It even makes you happy when youre feeling blue
So come on, come on, do the locomotion with me...

You've gotta swing your hips now
Come on baby, jump up, jump back
Well i think youve got the nack
Woah, woah

Everybodys doin the brand new dance now
Come on baby, do the locomotion
I know you'll get to like it if you give it a chance now
Come on baby, do the locomotion...

Do it nice and easy now dont loose control
A little bit of rhythm and a lotta soul
So come on, come on, do the locomotion
Come on, come on, do the locomotion
Come on, come on, do the locomotion with me
You gotta swing your hips now!!

Atomic Kitten

Atomic Kitten are an English girl group formed in Liverpool in 1998 and put together by Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD) frontman Andy McCluskey, who served as a principal songwriter during their early years. The original line-up consisted of Kerry Katona, Liz McClarnon and Heidi Range. Range was later replaced by Natasha Hamilton and eventually went on to join Sugababes.

The group’s debut album Right Now was released in October 2000 and peaked at number 39 in the UK. After four top ten singles, Katona quit the group and was replaced by former Precious singer Jenny Frost. “Whole Again” (recorded before Katona left), their next single, became their most successful song when it topped the UK singles chart for four weeks and became the 13th best-selling single of the 2000s. The group re-released their debut album, with some tracks re-recorded with Frost’s vocals. In the UK, the album hit number one, going double platinum after selling over 600,000 copies.

Between 2002 and 2004, the group released a further two studio albums, Feels So Good (which also went double platinum in the UK) and Ladies Night, and a greatest hits album before announcing a break following their 2004 tour.
