[Intro]
Ooooh-oh-ooh-oh
Ooooh-oh-ooh-oh

[Verse 1]
Hey, little girl, is your daddy home?
Did he go and leave you all alone?
I got a bad desire
Oh-oh-oh, I'm on fire

[Verse 2]
Tell me now, baby, is he good to you?
Can he do to you the things that I can't do?
I can take you higher
Oh-oh-oh, I'm on fire

[Bridge]
Ooooh-oh-ooh-oh
Sometimes it's like someone took a knife, baby, edgy and dull
And cut a six inch valley through the middle of my soul

[Verse 3]
At night I wake up with the sheets soaking wet
And a freight train running through the middle of my head
Only you can cool my desire
Oh-oh-oh, I'm on fire

[Outro]
Oh-oh-oh, I'm on fire
Oh-oh-oh, I'm on fire
Oh-oh-oh, I'm on fire
Ooooh-oh-ooh-oh
Ooooh-oh-ooh-oh

AWOLNATION

AWOLNATION is an American rock band, formed in 2010 by frontman Aaron Bruno. Aaron is now joined by Zach Irons on guitar, Isaac Carpenter on drums, Mike Goldman on bass, and Daniel Saslow on keyboard. They are best known for their hit song, “Sail.”

The band’s name comes from frontman Aaron Bruno’s high school nickname, “AWOL.” Aaron explains to MTV

I was either given or I claimed the nickname AWOL in high school at a certain point. So, I went with the name AWOL because I’ve always enjoyed the option of leaving social circumstances without having to explain myself. I attached “NATION” to “AWOL” and created AWOLNATION as, hopefully, a musical metaphor for a place to escape, to get through the day.
