[Intro: AJ]
We can only make believe
We can only make believe

[Verse 1: Howie]
Something that you said
Got into my head
Here I am falling from the edge
Waiting for the day
I can run away with you, with you

[Pre-Chorus: Nick]
Like angels on fire we burn the sky
One kiss and we'd say goodbye

[Chorus: All]
If we can only make believe
You and me, together
We can be a king and queen
Rule another world forever
We'd set our course to live or die
Across the universe I'd be by your side
If we could only make believe

[Reprise: AJ]
We can only make believe
We can only make believe

[Verse 2: Brian]
Catch another breath
I got nothing left
This love I have is pulling me to death
Waiting for the night
I can feel alive in you, ooh-ooh

[Pre-Chorus: Nick]
Like angels on fire we burn the sky
One kiss and we'd say goodbye

[Chorus: All]
If we can only make believe
You and me, together
We can be a king and queen
Rule another world forever
We'd set our course to live or die
Across the universe I'd be by your side
If we could only make believe

[Bridge: Nick & AJ]
If we close our eyes
Let our hearts collide
Leave the world outside
Leave it all behind
If we close our eyes
Let our hearts collide
Leave the world outside
Leave it all behind
Leave the world outside
Leave it all behind...

[Chorus: All & AJ]
If we can only make believe
You and me, together
We can be a king and queen
Rule another world forever
We'd set our course to live or die
Across the universe I'd be by your side
If we could only make believe

[Outro: Nick & All]
(If we could only make believe)
If we close our eyes
Let our hearts collide
(If we could only make believe)
Leave the world outside
Leave it all behind
(If we could only make believe)
If we close our eyes
Let our hearts collide
(If we could only make believe)
Leave the world outside
Leave it all behind

Backstreet Boys

The Backstreet Boys are the most successful boy band in history, having sold over 130 million records worldwide, and with their first nine albums reaching the top 10 on the Billboard 200. Florida natives A. J. McLean, Howie Dorough, and Nick Carter, along with Kentucky transplant Kevin Richardson, were joined in a band once they attended Lou Pearlman’s auditions for a vocal group in 1992, with the group being completed by Kevin’s cousin Brian Litrell. Once took under the wing of Swedish producer Max Martin in 1995, the stage was set for global domination, attracting the lust of women and the anger of men. While the fad died down and Kevin even left for a while, the band never officially took a break or such.
