[Intro]
Aha
Still big, baby
Big Shug
Aha

[Verse 1]
Allow me to express myself
I’m doing okay if I suggest myself
Smoke the medical for the mental health
My mission’s still the same on my way to the wealth
Y’all niggas kill me when it comes to the rap
Want to slow a brother down, speak of an age gap
Some say Shug, you too old
Until they find his silly ass knocked out cold
I’m never too old to make your body fold
First Friday, baby, here Debo go
Big Shug spit, click click bang
You cannot hang, it’s a big nigga thing
Infinite torch, my flame’s eternal
Kentucky Fried Chicken so they call me the Colonel
OG wise, big dude fly
Rest in peace, Guru, we’ll get the little guy
We are the arms, the legs and the face
Veteran shit, we are the base
Y’all claiming to live your best life
I’m claiming too to live my big life
Still big

[Hook]
“And that’s that”
Still big
Still big
Aye
“All rise, it’s time to do the damn thing”
“And that’s that”
Still big
Still big
Aye
“All rise, it’s time to do the damn thing”

[Verse 2]
Still big, still raw, still dope
Bigger than hatred and snake cutthroats
This is some of the biggest shit that I wrote
Trying to get the last of the realest niggas hope
Still big, protect your fort
They’re taking down black man like a top sport
Still crush the amateurs and scream to keep it real
Only big players know how I feel
Still bigger than imaginary stars
With imaginary bars, push real time cars
We see your fakeness from near and afar
Do you really know who the fuck you really are?
Collapse your lung, dumb son, with no gun
Land of the big is where I come from
Big dreams, big team, Big Shug and Preem
Big Cadillac with a big gangster lean
Still big
Aha

[Hook]
“And that’s that”
Still big
Still big
Aye
“All rise, it’s time to do the damn thing”
“And that’s that”
Still big
Still big
Aye
“All rise, it’s time to do the damn thing”

Big Shug

Big Shug (born Cary Guy) is a hip hop artist and actor from Boston, Massachusetts, and a member of the Gang Starr Foundation collective.

Cary spent much of his early life in Boston’s Mattapan area (known locally as “Murdapan”). Growing up, he forged a friendship with future Gang Starr MC, Guru. The two were separated when Shug was imprisoned and Guru moved to New York, forming Gang Starr with DJ Premier.

On his release, Shug again hooked up with Guru, joined the Gang Starr Foundation, and contributed to each of Gang Starr’s albums, beginning with Hard to Earn in 1994 (on “F.A.L.A.”). He also appeared on DJ Krush’s “Meiso” from 1998’s Moment of Truth, and contributed to Guru’s “Jazzmatazz” albums.
