[Verse 1]
Sunrise doesn't last all morning
A cloudburst doesn't last all day
Seems my love has up and has left you with no warning
It's not always gonna be this grey

[Chorus]
(All things must pass)
All things must pass
(All things must pass away)
I'm so glad
(All things must pass)
All things must pass, ooh, yeah
(All things must pass away)

[Verse 2]
Sunset doesn't last all evening
The mind can blow those clouds away
After all this, my love is up and must be leaving
It's not always going to be this grey

[Chorus]
(All things must pass)
Ooh, I'm so glad
(All things must pass away)
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
(All things must pass)
All things must pass, they gone
All things must pass away

[Verse 3]
All things must pass
None of my screams can last, so
I must be on my way
To face another day now
Darkness only stays at nighttime
With the morning, it will fade away
Daylight is good at arriving at the right time
No, it's not always going to be this grey
Because

[Chorus]
(All things must pass)
Ooh, I'm so glad
All things must pass away
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
(All things must pass)
All things must pass on, yeah
All things must pass away
You oughta be glad
All things must pass (All things must pass)
Oh, you know I thank God
All things must pass away, yeah
