Songwriter: Elvis Presley

[Verse 1]
Caught in a trap
I can't walk out
Because I love you too much, baby
Why can't you see
What you're doing to me
When you don't believe a word I'm saying?

[Hook]
We can't go on together
With suspicious minds
How can we build our dreams
On suspicious minds?

[Verse 2]
If an old flame I know
Stops by to say hello
Will I still see suspicion in your eyes?
Here we go again
Asking where I've been
Can't you see those tears are real?
I'm crying

[Hook]
We can't go on together
With suspicious minds
How can we build our dreams
On suspicious minds?

[Instrumental]

[Verse 3]
Caught in a trap
I can't walk out
Because I love you too much, baby
Why can't you see
What you're doing to me
When you don't believe a word I'm saying?

[Hook]
We can't go on together
With suspicious minds
How can we build our dreams
On suspicious minds?

[Outro]
We can't go on together
With suspicious minds
How can we build our dreams
On suspicious minds?

Bowling for Soup

Bowling for Soup is an American pop/punk band that formed in 1994. The band was named after a comedy act “Bowling For Shit”. They later changed “Shit” to “Soup.”

In the band’s earlier days, they cited punk rock acts such as The Ramones and Green Day as inspiration. Two of their albums – A Hangover You Don’t Deserve and Drunk Enough to Dance – reached the Top 40 charts.

They sing the theme song of Disney’s original show Phineas and Ferb, and have even made animated appearances in the series.
