[Verse 1: Camila Cabello]
You said you hated the ocean, but you're surfin' now
I said I'd love you for life, but I just sold our house
We were kids at the start, I guess we're grown-ups now, mmm
Couldn't never imagine even havin' doubts
But not everything works out, no

[Pre-Chorus: Camila Cabello]
Now I'm out dancin' with strangers
You could be casually datin'
Damn, it's all changin' so fast

[Chorus: Camila Cabello]
Así es la vida, sí
Yeah, that's just life, baby
Yeah, love came around and it knocked me down
But I'm back on my feet
Así es la vida, sí
Yeah, that's just life, baby
I was barely standin', but now I'm dancin'
He's all over me (Goza)

[Post-Chorus: Camila Cabello]
Ba-da, bam-bam-bam-bam, bam-bam
Ba-da, bam-bam-bam-bam, bam-bam
Ba-da, bam-bam-bam-bam, bam-bam
Ba-da, bam-bam-bam-bam (Así es la vida)
Ba-da, bam-bam-bam-bam, bam-bam (Uh-huh)
Ba-da, bam-bam-bam-bam, bam-bam (Eh, eh, uh-huh)
Ba-da, bam-bam-bam-bam, bam-bam (Uh-huh)
Ba-da, bam-bam-bam-bam

[Verse 2: Ed Sheeran]
It's been a hell of a year, thank God we made it out
Yeah, we were ridin' a wave and trying not to drown
And on the surface, I held it together
But underneath, I sorta came unwound
Where would I be? You're all that I need
My world, baby, you hold me down
You always hold me down

[Pre-Chorus: Ed Sheeran, with Camila Cabello]
Well, I've been a breaker and broken
Every mistake turns to moments
Wouldn't take anything back

[Chorus: Camila Cabello and Ed Sheeran, Camila Cabello & Ed Sheeran]
Así es la vida, sí (Así es)
Yeah, that's just life, baby
Yeah, love came around and it knocked me down
But I'm back on my feet
Así es la vida, sí
Yeah, that's just life, baby
I was barely standin', but now I'm dancin'
She's all over me (He's all over me)

[Post-Chorus: Camila Cabello and Ed Sheeran & Camila Cabello]
Ba-da, bam-bam-bam-bam, bam-bam
Ba-da, bam-bam-bam-bam, bam-bam
Ba-da, bam-bam-bam-bam, bam-bam
Ba-da, bam-bam-bam-bam (Ahí, ahí)
Ba-da, bam-bam-bam-bam, bam-bam
Ba-da, bam-bam-bam-bam, bam-bam
Ba-da, bam-bam-bam-bam, bam-bam
Ba-da, bam-bam-bam-bam (Pónganle azúcar, mi gente!)

[Bridge: Camila Cabello & Ed Sheeran]
Y sigue bailando, hey
Y sigue bailando, a-ha

Y sigue bailando

Y sigue bailando (Hey!), a-ha (Hay amor en todos lados)

Camila Cabello

Karla Camila Cabello Estrabao is a Cuban-American singer born on March 3, 1997, in Cojímar, Havana, Cuba. For the first five years of her life, Cabello lived in Cuba and Mexico before relocating to Miami, Florida. Cabello dropped out of her 2012/13 high school year to pursue a career in singing (although she did receive her diploma). For her quinceanera, Camila asked her parents to drive her to North Carolina, so she could audition for the second season of The X Factor US. Barely making it into the competition, she was granted an “alternate” role who was only able to audition if they had time. Eventually, she along with Dinah Jane Hansen, Ally Brooke Hernandez, Lauren Jauregui and Normani Kordei were tapped to form multi-platinum girl group, Fifth Harmony. The collective released many chart-toppers with the highest being “Work From Home” peaking at number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100.

During this time, Cabello collaborated with Canadian artist Shawn Mendes on “I Know What You Did Last Summer,” as well as American rapper Machine Gun Kelly on “Bad Things,” which peaked at number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100.

She remained part of the group until the 19th of December 2016, where the four remaining members announced via their official Twitter account that Camila had decided to leave the group to pursue a solo career. Camila then confirmed this by posting a statement on her Twitter account.
