[Verse 1]
I love you
It's  obvious, but people can change
We  got bruised
We left things undecided and now we're two people
We're standing in the city rain
But  we're brand new
We  turn our backs and walk away

[Pre-Chorus]
Even though we're through
I'm  always here for you
I know you feel it too
I'm telling you the truth

[Chorus]
Some nights‚ I go back there
Right  back where we used to love
Think I messed up somewhere
Don't know what I keep running from
Don't know what I keep running from
Don't know why I keep running
Don't know why I keep running

[Verse 2]
So far
I'm on the other side of the globe
With new friends
With someone else asleep in the sheets
But I got you‚ yeah
Locked up in a part of my brain
Forever‚ yeah
I can't forget my memories, no

[Pre-Chorus]
Even though we're through
I'm always here for you
I know you feel it too
I'm telling you the truth

[Chorus]
Some nights, I go back there
Right back where we used to love
Think I messed up somewhere
Don't know what I keep running from
Don't know what I keep running from
Don't know why I keep running
Don't know why I keep running

[Bridge]
Sometimes‚ I miss you when I'm all alone
And even though we both moved on
Sometimes I play your favourite song
I play it on and on
And I, I miss you when I'm all alone
And even though we both moved on
Sometimes I play your favourite song
I play it on and on and on

[Outro]
Don't know what I keep running from
(All I know, all I know)
Don't know what I keep running from
(All I know‚ all I know)
Don't know why I keep running (I miss you)
Don't know what I keep running from
(I miss you, I miss you, I miss you)
(I miss you, I miss you, I miss you)
Don't know what I keep running from
(I miss you, I miss you, I miss you)
Don't know why I keep running
(I miss you, I miss you, I miss you)
Don't know why I keep running

Charli XCX

Charlotte Emma Aitchison (born 2 August 1992), known professionally as Charli XCX, is an English singer-songwriter known for her eclectic style. She began making music at fourteen, and her debut release was a 2008 limited-edition album aptly titled 14.

By 2010, Charli signed to Atlantic Records, and released her debut single “Stay Away” in May 2011. She released her “real” debut album, True Romance, in 2013. The record met critical acclaim but failed to attain much commercial success. Charli’s true breakthrough came with the release of hit collaborations like Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy” and Icona Pop’s “I Love It.”

In April 2014, Charli found solo success with “Boom Clap,” which was featured on the soundtrack of The Fault in Our Stars. It’s now certified triple platinum in the United States and gold in her native United Kingdom. Her sophomore album, Sucker, was a pop-punk oriented effort and enjoyed more success than her debut. “Break The Rules,” “Doing It” (featuring Rita Ora), and “Famous” all performed well on the UK singles chart.
