[Verse 1]
I came with no expectancy
Not thinking that I would find a better place
Scared of commitment i should leave
I started seeing I wanted this to be

[Pre-Chorus]
Something that we would never question
But if you do I know you have good intentions

[Chorus]
When things get harder you just
Point out all the red flags and my scars
I can't change the facts
That ive got all these holes in this ready heart
Hope you understand
That there’s hurt in my past
Moved on, but still look back
And I’m trying to be better
So if you’re gonna love me
Know that
There’s holes in this ready heart

[Bridge]
Slowly becoming what i need
Then you brought out the worst of my defense
Started to threaten you would leave
My heart was set on you but now

[Pre-Chorus]
I want something that you would never question
But if you do i hope that you have good intentions

[Chorus]
When things get harder you just
Point out all the red flags and my scars
I can't change the facts
That I've got all these holes in this ready heart
Hope you understand
That there’s hurt in my past
Moved on, but still look back
And I’m trying to be better
So if you’re gonna love me
Know that
There’s holes in this ready heart
Know that
There’s holes in this ready heart
Know that
There’s holes in this

[Outro]
When things get harder you just
Point out all the red flags and my scars
I can't change the facts
That ive got all these holes in this ready heart
Hope you understand
That there’s hurt in my past
Moved on but still look back
And I’m trying to be better
So if you’re gonna love me
Know that
There’s holes in this ready heart
