Guerra, guerra es estúpida
Y la gente es estúpida
And love means nothing
In some strange quarters
Guerra, guerra es estúpida
Y la gente es estúpida
And I heard them banging
On hearts and fingers
(War)

People fill the world
With narrow confidence
Like a child at birth
A man with no defense
What's mine's my own
I won't give it to you
No matter what you say
No matter what you do

Now we're fighting in our hearts
Fighting in the streets
Won't somebody help me

Guerra, guerra es estúpida
Y la gente es estúpida
And love means nothing
In some strange quarters
Guerra, guerra es estúpida
Y la gente es estúpida
And I heard them banging
On hearts and fingers
(War)

Man is far behind
In the search for something new
Like a Philistine
We're burning witches too
This world of fate
Must be designed for you
It matters what you say
It matters what you do

Now we're fighting in our hearts
Fighting in the streets
Won't somebody help me

Guerra, guerra es estúpida
Y la gente es estúpida
And love means nothing
In some strange quarters
Guerra, guerra es estúpida
Y la gente es estúpida
And I heard them banging
On hearts and fingers
(War)

(War war war war war
War war war war war
War war war war war
War war war war war
War war war war war)

After the bird has flown
He walked ten thousand miles back home
You can't do that to me, no
You can't do that to me
You can't do that to me, no
You can't do that to me

(War
War)

In this heart of mine
I'll find a place for you
For black or white
For all the children, too

Now we're fighting in our hearts
Fighting in the streets
Won't somebody help me

Guerra, guerra es estúpida
Y la gente es estúpida
And love means nothing
In some strange quarters
Guerra, guerra es estúpida
Y la gente es estúpida
And I heard them banging
On hearts and fingers

(Guerra, guerra es estúpida)
No more war
(Y la gente es estúpida)
Said no more war
Said war
(And love means nothing
In some strange quarters)
I said war
(Guerra, guerra es estúpida)
Said no more war
(Y la gente es estúpida)
Said no more war
Said war
(And I heard them banging
On hearts and fingers)

(Guerra, guerra es estúpida)
Said no more war
(Y la gente es estúpida)
I said no more war
(And love means nothing
In some strange quarters
Guerra, guerra es estúpida)
Senso hant-ai
(Y la gente es estúpida)
Senso hant-ai
Say no more war
(And I heard them banging
On hearts and fingers)
Say no more

(Guerra, guerra es estúpida)
No more war
(Y la gente es estúpida)
Say no more war
(And love means nothing)
And no more war
(In some strange quarters
Guerra, guerra es estúpida
Y la gente es estúpida)
And no more war
Oh, war
(And I heard them banging)

Culture Club

Culture Club is a New Wave / Pop Band from London England who are known for a string of pop hits during the 1980s. Their second album, Colour By Numbers, sold more than 10 million albums, was ranked the 96th best album of the 1980s by Rolling Stone, and contained their most famous song Karma Chameleon.

Formed in 1981 by lead singer Boy George, bassist Mikey Craig, drummer Jon Moss and guitarist Roy Hay, Culture Club was named after the diversity in ethnicity and backgrounds of it’s members. They were soon after signed to Virgin records, but it wouldn’t be until the press realized Boy George’s androgynous style, before Culture Club would take off as pop hit masters.

Culture Club sold more than 50 million albums worldwide, and had international success with songs such as “Do You Really Want to Hurt Me?”, “Time (Clock of the Heart)” and “I’ll Tumble 4 Ya”.
