[Verse 1]
Baby, put a bullet in me
Lord knows I'm no good
I'm a man with good intentions, just misunderstood
Every morning when you wake up, turn onto my side
Tell me just what do you see when you look into my eyes
Ohh, oh oh oh
Ohh, oh oh oh
Ohh, oh oh oh

[Verse 2]
Don't give up on me now
I'll still get better
Don't throw in the towel
Don't give up on me yet
I'm still growing into your man, yes I am
I need you to stay with me
Save me from this deep despair, ohh-oh
Without you, I cannot breathe
Where am I if you're not there?

[Chorus]
Won't live here without you
I can't go through the pain
Won't live here without you
Can't go through that again

[Verse 3]
I know there ain't two ways about it
You know that you should never doubt it
But people make mistakes
Ascend with me up into heaven
And leave behind this Armageddon
I'll take you to a better place

[Bridge]
Yes, I know sometimes I hurt you
Sometimes you hurt me too
Makes me go mad
Every time you hear this music
Take that pain and use it
Use it for you

[Outro]
Yes, I know sometimes I hurt you
Sometimes you hurt me too
Make me go mad
Every time you hear this music
Take that pain and use it
Use it for you
Ohh, ohh
Ooh
Yeah, da-da-da
Da-da

Daniel Caesar

The world has come to understand R&B/Soul music as a multi-faceted genre that transcends soundwaves into the inner core of our existence — a genre that makes listeners feel, rather than just hear. For Toronto native, Ashton Simmonds, who performs under the stage name, Daniel Caesar (born April 5, 1995), the R&B/Soul genre serves as a skeleton to which he builds up with jarring gospel undertones, heart-tugging guitar chords, and soothing harmonious vocals.

His sophomore effort, Praise Break, successfully captured the attention of many major publications and outlets and was ranked 19th in the 20 Best R&B Albums of 2014 by Rolling Stone Magazine. Caesar’s follow-up project, Pilgrim’s Paradise, was met with even greater praise, subsequently capturing the attention of both the Canadian and international music markets.

On August 25, 2017, Daniel released his debut album, Freudian, which followed the release of “We Find Love” and “Blessed,” and contains hit songs, “Best Part” and “Get You.” In 2018, Freudian was nominated for Best R&B Album at the Grammys.
