[Verse 1: Dream]
Pulling petals off a flower tryna get your way (way)
Keep pulling til it says what you wanna say (Say)
Girl, you can pick a field full of daisies, but he'd still be my baby
I know you can hardly wait til I'm away from him
Instinctively I know what you're thinking
You'll be giving him an open invitation
But my baby won't be taken in

[Pre-Chorus: Dream]
You can pout your cherry lips
Try to tempt him with a sweet kiss
You can flirt your pretty eyes
He ain't got his hands tied

[Chorus: Dream]
No chains to unlock
So free to do what he wants (Free to do whatever he wants)
He's into what he's got
He loves me
He loves you not
No matter what you do
He's never gonna be with you
He's into what he's got
He loves me (He loves me)
He loves you not

[Verse 2: Dream]
You're the kinda girl that's always up for do-or-dare
Only want him just because he's there
Always looking for a new ride
The grass is greener on the other side
You're the kind of girl who's not used to hearing no (No)
All your lovers try to take you where you wanna go (Go)
Doesn't matter how hard you try
You're never gonna get with my guy

[Pre-Chorus: Dream]
You can pout your cherry lips
Try to tempt him with a sweet kiss
You can flirt your pretty eyes
He ain't got his hands tied

[Chorus: Dream]
No chains to unlock
So free to do what he wants (He wants)
He's into what he's got
He loves me
He loves you not
No matter what you do
He's never gonna be with you (No, no, no, no, no)
He's into what he's got
He loves me (He loves me)
He loves you not
No chains to unlock
So free to do what he wants (Free to do whatever he wants)
He's into what he's got (Yeah)
He loves me
He loves you not
No matter what you do
He's never gonna be with you
He's into what he's got
He loves me (He loves me)
He loves you not
No chains to unlock
So free to do what he wants (He wants)
He's into what he's got
He loves me
He loves you not
No matter what you do
He's never gonna be with you (No, no, no, no, no)
He's into what he's got
He loves me (He loves me)
He loves you not
No chains to unlock
So free to do what he wants (Free to do whatever he wants)
He's into what he's got (Yeah)
He loves me
He loves you not

[Outro]
No matter what you do
He's never gonna be with you
He's into what he's got
He loves me
He loves you not
No chains to unlock
So free to do what he wants
He's into what he's go

Dream (Girl Group)

Dream was an American pop girl group that was formed in late 1998 by talent scout, Judith Fontaine. The original lineup consisted of Holly Blake-Arnstein, Melissa Schuman, Ashley Poole, and Alex Chester. The group’s original name was First Warning, before being changed to Dream.

The group was later signed to P. Diddy’s Bad Boy label, and in early 1999, Alex Chester was replaced by Diana Ortiz.

In late 2000, the group released their debut single, “He Loves U Not”, and the song became the group’s biggest hit to date, peaking at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. Their second single, “This Is Me”, was released months later, and it achieved moderate success, peaking at #39 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. The girl group also became an opening act for *NSYNC on their No Strings Attached Tour.
