[Intro]
Oh, oh, oh-ooh
Oh, oh, oh-ooh
Oh-ooh

[Verse 1]
I've been out painting
The streets that I walk on
A trail of shadows free from shine
I still remember looking in mirrors
That show a reflection with a smile

[Pre-Chorus]
I worry when I look around
I just pretend I have it all

[Chorus]
Cover me with paint
Colours that will make me feel alive
Cover me with paint
Teach me how to laugh just like a child
'Cause I've just been sad old me for a while

[Post-Chorus]
Oh, oh, oh-ooh
Oh, oh, oh-ooh
Oh-ooh

[Verse 2]
I've been out sailin'
Broke all my patterns
Took on the waves to heal my mind
I still remember looking in mirrors
Wondering who took the place of mine

[Pre-Chorus]
No colour when I look around
I just pretеnd I see them all

[Chorus]
Cover me with paint
Colours that will makе me feel alive
Cover me with paint
Teach me how to laugh just like a child
Cover me with paint
Colours that will make me feel alive
Cover me with paint
Teach me how to laugh just like a child
'Cause I've just been sad old me for a while

[Outro]
I fake okay, I play along
Won't show you how I feel at all
I know how to put on a show
I'm sadder than you'll ever know
