[Verse 1]
You gotta help me, I been losing my mind
Keep getting this feeling you wanna leave this all behind
Thought we were going strong
Thought we were holding on
Aren't we?
Babe, you know they don't teach us, none of this in school
And now my heart's breaking and I don't know what to do, yeah
Thought we were going strong, yeah
Thought we were holding on
Aren't we?

[Chorus]
You and me got a whole lot of history
We could be the greatest team that the world has ever seen, babe
You and me got a whole lot of history
So don't let it go, we can make some more, we can live forever

[Verse 2]
All of those rumors, all of the fights
But we always found a way to make it out alive, yeah
Thought we were going strong
I thought we were holding on
Aren't we?

[Chorus]
You and me got a whole lot of history
We could be the greatest team that the world has ever seen, babe
You and me got a whole lot of history
So don't let it go, we can make some more, we can live forever

[Bridge]
Minibars, expensive cars
New tattoos, hotel rooms
The good champagne and private planes
Oh, they don't mean anything
'Cause the truth is I, I realize
That without you here, it's just a lie
It's not the end, no it's not the end
We can make it, you know it, you know

[Chorus]
You and me got a whole lot of history (Woo)
We could be the greatest team that the world has ever seen, yeah
You and me got a whole lot of history
So don't let it go, we can make some more, we can live forever

[Outro]
Baby, don't you know?
Baby, don't you know?
We can live forever
