[Intro]
Life is just going so quickly, I can’t catch it
I don't think anyone can

[Verse 1]
I met the devil in the hills last night
I was driving by myself, alone
He said, "Boy, what you running from?"
I said, "I don't know"
I don't know if it was a better time
But girl, we were giants then
Endless nights, we were infinite (So, terrified, I guess)
Summer's end would mean the death of us

[Chorus]
But summer past, and we grew up
And all of our paths, they split up
And I haven't seen your face or heard your voice in so long
So, so long
We had a good run, it's over now
(No, I'm not sad about it, but, I'm just, it's weird)

[Verse 2]
Yeah, lying on the grass, talk is so old
Living under Orion, we grew so bold
Lying on our days, we were outlaws
Our loss, but
Catch me if you can, never wiped out
Tryin' to catch a wave, tryin' to break out
I guess I didn't know
And now I'm gone
But it don't hurt me anymore
That's just the way it goes
Yeah, I should've known
But, I heard you talking through the walls late last night
"There are no ends, just grays and half-lives" (Left me in pieces)
Half-time (And I heard it), it's alright (And I heard it)

[Chorus]
That summer past, and we grew up
And all of our plans, they split us up
And I haven't seen your face or heard your voice in so long
So, so long
We had a good run, it's over now

[Interlude]
So, please, don't fade me out
So, please, don't fade me out
So, please, don't lose me now
I heard the words that you never said
Smokescreen from a cigarette
Exhale, we can never be what's in our heads
(So, please, don't fade me out)
Elevation doesn't matter now, it's straight ahead
Sending shivers down my spine, life pirouettes
It's cool, we're used to losing real friends
Only ever feeling it in retrospect
(So, please, don’t lose me now)
And we were really breathing, not silhouettes
Maybe in another dream this would never end

[Outro]
'Cause everything is not alright
And we are falling
But that's just life
Without some lows, there is no highs
And everything will be okay
Though we are all hurting
'Cause time flies fast
And you know, no pain is forever
Ever, forever
(I don't think, I'm not saying you should
Be really cautious and shit, I'm, quite the opposite
Just like it's, everything is so, I mean
Expecting anything to last forever is ridiculous isn't it?
I think that's ridiculous
You think that's ridiculous?
Yeah, of course everything lasts forever)

EDEN

Jonathon Ng (born 23 December 1995), better known by his stage name EDEN, is an Irish electronic music producer turned singer-songwriter based in Dublin, Ireland. He formerly operated as The Spab Project, and would upload random songs and projects onto SoundCloud. After he had outgrown that phase, he changed his name to The Eden Project, an alias that was discontinued in 2015. Ng’s work as The Eden Project typically featured more conventional styles of electronic dance music such as dubstep and drum and bass, while EDEN saw him venturing into a more indie pop style. He made this alias change in April 2015, after the release of Final Call.

In an interview for Billboard, EDEN gives a little information about himself. He didn’t enjoy his school’s music subjects, yet started writing music at the early age of 7 or 8, and even performed in a band with some of his friends at the age of 13 or 14.

EDEN’s main inspirations are varied. He enjoyed Rihanna while at school, whereas his current musical inspiration ranges from Kendrick Lamar to even Hans Zimmer.
