[Intro]
Can I take y'all back to '95 real quick?
I know some of y'all might remember this song right here
And it goes like this

Your love is wonderful, yeah, yeah
And I, I don't wanna lose you
So baby

[Chorus]
Soon as I get home
I'll make it up to you
Baby, I'll do what I gotta do
Sing it for me, y'all
Soon as I get home
I'll make it up to you
Baby, I'll do what I gotta do

[Verse 1]
Sleepless nights, and lonely days
Are all that fill my head
All the time, oh baby
But all I do is think about the way you make me feel
'Cause baby this love is so real

[Chorus]
Soon as I get home (Oh oh, when I get home)
I'll make it up to you (I'm gonna do)
Baby, I'll do what I gotta do
(I'll do what I gotta do)
Soon as I get home (Oh yeah yeah yeah)
I'll make it up to you (Make it up to you)
Baby, I'll do what I gotta do

[Bridge]
But you know what? Baby, if you give me
Baby, if you give me just another chance (I'll show you love)
I can show you love (More love)
I promise I'll be true to you
(You don't ever have to worry)
You don't ever have to worry (No, no, no)
'Cause I'm gonna treat you right (Baby, I miss you)
Baby, I miss you, just wanna kiss you
Hold you in my arms

[Chorus]
Soon as I get home (Soon as, yeah yeah)
Baby, I know what I gotta do
'Cause I don't need no one but you (I know what I need)
Soon as I get home (And I need you, baby, yeah)
Baby, I know what I gotta do (I know just what to do)
'Cause I don't need no one but you
(I get down on my knees, begging you please)
(I'm so sorry sorry sorry sorry, yeah)
Baby, I know what I gotta do (Baby, I know just what to do)
'Cause I don't need no one but you
(Whatever you want, whatever you need)
Soon as I get home
(Oh tell me what I gotta do for you, yeah yeah)
Baby, I know what I gotta do
'Cause I don't need no one but you
Soon as I get, soon as I get
Soon as I get home, yeah

Faith Evans

Faith Evans is a singer-songwriter-producer who was the first lady of Bad Boy Entertainment and former wife of the label’s star, The Notorious B.I.G.

After working as a background singer for Al B. Sure!, Faith was writing songs and singing background for artists such as Mary J. Blige, Usher, and Tony Thompson before releasing her own debut album, Faith, in 1995. The album was certified platinum and featured the gold singles “You Used To Love Me” and “Soon As I Get Home”. After Biggie’s murder on March 9, 1997, Faith—along with Puff Daddy and 112—paid tribute to him on the #1 pop single “I’ll Be Missing You”, which won a Grammy for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group in 1998.

Her second album, Keep the Faith, also achieved platinum status and featured the gold single “Love Like This”. She left Bad Boy after her third album, Faithfully, and released several albums through multiple labels, including the 2017 duet project, The King & I, which mixed her vocals with acapellas from The Notorious B.I.G. She appeared in the 2003 movie The Fighting Temptations, as well as the reality television shows R&B Divas and Love & Hip Atlanta.
