When I get to the bottom I go back to the top of the slide
Where I stop and I turn and I go for a ride
Till I get to the bottom and I see you again!

Do you, don't you want me to love you?
I’m coming down fast, but I'm miles above you
Tell me, tell me, tell me, come on, tell me the answer
Well, you may be a lover, but you ain't no dancer

Go, Helter skelter
Helter skelter
Helter skelter

Do you, don’t you want me to make you?
I'm coming down fast, but don't let me break you
Tell me, tell me, tell me your answer!
You might be a drummer but you taste like cancer

Helter skelter
Helter skelter
Helter skelter

Look out!
'Cause here she comes

When I get to the bottom I go back to the top of the slide
Where I stop and I turn and go for a ride
'Til I get to the bottom and I see you again
At the bottom I go back to the top of the slide
Where I stop and I turn and go for a ride
'Til I get to the bottom and I see you again

Well, do you, don't you want me to make you?
I'm coming down fast but don’t let me break you
Tell me, tell me, tell me your answer!
You may be a lover but you ain’t no dancer

Helter skelter
Helter skelter
Helter skelter

When I get to the bottom I go back to the top of the slide
Where I stop and I turn and go for a ride
'Til I get to the bottom and I see you again

Frank Iero and the Future Violents

The Future Violents are Frank Iero and Evan Nestor on vocals and guitars with Matt Armstrong (Murder by Death) on bass, Tucker Rule (Thursday) on drums, and multi-instrumentalist Kayleigh Goldsworthy. Frank and Evan formed the core of Frank’s previous solo projects, Frnkiero andthe cellabration and Frank Iero and the Patience, but for The Future Violents, Frank rounded out his band with a group of friends who joined him both in the studio and on the road. Their full-length album Barriers was released on May 31, 2019.

On the band’s name, Frank told Inked magazine:

I was already looking for names and on our flight from Perth to Sydney – on the fateful Australia tour where we had this horrible accident about three years ago – a steward came over and was like, ‘You guys look like you’re in a band,’ and I said, ‘Yeah we are Frank Iero and The Patience.’ He misheard and said, ‘The Future Violents, that’s a crazy name.’ And I was like, ‘No, that’s an amazing name. I’m writing that down.’
