Songwriter: Gallant STINT

[Verse 1: Seal]
Black dust in orbit
Cascades down like a parachute
Bricks on my shoulders
This gravity hurts when you know the truth

[Chorus: Seal]
I’m pulling my weight in gold
Call me anxious, call me broke
I can’t lift this on my own
I’m pulling my weight in gold
Call me anxious, call me broke
I can’t lift this on my own

[Verse 2: Gallant]
We dreamt like martyrs, baby
I never thought I was bold enough, no, no, no
You pushed me further, ooh
I take the blame for the both of us

[Chorus: Gallant]
I’m pulling my weight in gold
Call me anxious, call me broke
But I can’t lift this on my own
I’m pulling my weight in gold
Call me anxious, call me broke
But I can’t lift this on my own

[Bridge: Gallant]
Oh, universe, hold me up
Tried your best, is it ever enough, no, no, no
When it’s already dragging me down, down

[Chorus: Seal & Gallant]
I’m pulling my weight (weight) in (in) gold (gold)
Call me anxious, call me broke
I can’t lift this on my own
I'm pulling my weight, brother (weight, brother) in (in) gold (gold)
Call me anxious, call me broke
But I can’t lift this on my own
