Oh nobody does it the way I like this?
Mmmm....where are you from?
Yeah, you really got me now.....
I was at a party, spotted your baby face hair slicked back in place, smile so vivid
I knew I had to make a move on your pretty feet weak off I've got to think to get you in my limits
Let me show you how to ease my tension, use your body and soul just how far will I go?
You want an answer to your question
Do you really want to know? you're out of my reach that's why I want you more

[Hook]
It's a choice of trick or treat, we'll begin and end on a 7 day weekend
Are you so blind that you can't see? a kiss will lead you on
Sex will bring you under I bet you it's all over
Uh huh, gotta get up gotta get up, send you up send you up
On a 7 day weekend

Contradictions get distorted and you know there's no guarantee
I had to fool with his friend standing in front of him to bring his attention to me
Let me show you how to ease my tension, use your body and soul just how far will I go?
You want an answer to your question, do you really want to know?
'cause, you're out of my reach that's why I want you more
It's a choice of trick or treat, we'll begin and end on a 7 day weekend
Are you so blind that you can't see? a kiss will lead you on
The sex will bring you under I bet you it's all over

[Bridge]
Love that's beyond the line, losing my dignity
Love without trust, what is it worth, you've got to live your life gracefully!!!

[Hook]

Ohhhh, yeahhhh...
You make me feel so good inside, baby let me love you tonight
I'm yours.....weekend
I tell you, we'll begin and end on a 7 day weekend
Are you so blind that you can't see? a kiss will lead you on
Effects will bring you under I bet you... it's a choice...yeah....
We'll begin and end on a seven day weekend
A kiss will lead you on, effects will bring you under
[laughs...]
7 days....7 days and I got you where I want you
I got you where I want you, you're mine [laughs].. you're mine, you're mine......[laughs]

Grace Jones

Bervely Grace Jones is a Jamaican model, singer, songwriter, record producer, and actress.

Grace started her career in the early 70s as a model. She worked with photographers such as Jean-Paul Goude, Helmut Newton, Guy Bourdin, and Hans Feurer, for fashion houses such as Yves St. Laurent and Kenzo, and appeared on the covers of Elle and Vogue. She became known for her distinctive androgynous appearance and bold features.

In 1977 Jones embarked on a music career, securing a record deal with Island Records and initially becoming a star of New York City’s Studio 54-centered disco scene. Her first album, Portfolio was released in September of that year, containing one of her greatest successes, her version of Edith Piaf’s “La vie en Rose”. In the 80s Grace reached the height of her career being, as pointed by Pitchfork, one of the early convergences of “fashion, art, and music”, influencing on the 1980s pop culture with albums like her iconic Nightclubbing (1981) and Slave to the Rhythm (1985), and her visual work with Jean-Paul Goude.
