[Verse 1]
Hypocrites preach services
Survey says you not even close
Ain’t top, you got a boss
If me and you are in a test
Only 2 of us left
Through loopholes running shifts
It is going to be me and Benjamin
Only see green and get cream
Smoking ain’t really my thing
Dealing is my thing
Imagine reality changing
Not your fear projection
Slow me down, pray that I start falling

[Verse 2]
Dream if you can, a world
Ocean of reds in bloom
Bunch of blues running all over the town too
It’s freedom I suppose
Ocean has the feeling
Sun breaking down the evening
Color running down the morning
What a wonderful feeling
The feeling that takes the sky

[Chorus]
I feel like I am trying to fly
Only way up is me getting high
Don’t cry
The devil wears parda
I know it is sad but that’s life
It sounds like when thugs cry
Can’t fly, that’s a lie
Too busy trying to get high
Make sure to never cry
Ain’t no leaving this life
It sounds like when doves cry

[Verse 3]
Feel if you will my touch
Small steps big changes
No chains only Rolexes
Butterfly effect
2019 still slaves
Same suits different Presidents
Dealt with dead President
In the grave but still a presence
Hands ambidextrous with aces
Feel how it trembles inside
You’ve got the Kings script
But I hear the knights speech
6 feet deep feeling like heath
Don’t make me care for you
Even doves have cried

[Verse 4]
Trying to look fly
Only way up is me getting high
Don’t cry
The devil wears parda
I know it is sad but that’s life
Life of princes
Moon shines but never phases
The same for one night
Open a fight
Lights out mike
GodDamn I like
Leave psych
Call shots by moving thumbs
Nothing real is threatened
Nothing unreal exists
Dealing with the left
Whip white with the right
It sounds like when thugs cry
Can’t die that’s a lie
Too busy trying to get high
Make sure to never cry
Ain’t no leaving this life
It sounds like when doves cry

[Chorus]
I feel like I am trying to fly
Only way up is me getting high
Don’t cry
The devil wears parda
I know it is sad but that’s life
It sounds like when thugs cry
Can’t fly that’s a lie
Too busy trying to get high
Make sure to never cry
Ain’t no leaving this life
Adapt to crime
It sounds like when doves cry
Ever hear a thug cry
Maybe a thug can fly
When it’s time

[Outro: Prince Sample]
