[Verse 1]
It's dark outside
I'm feeling right with you, oh, you
Don't turn off the lights
Can we try something new, oh, new?

[Pre-Chorus]
Ain't see this side of me
Fluent in the sheets
Can you read in between me?
I ain't a stranger to the foreplay
So we can skip the wordplay

[Chorus]
Leave the lights on
Leave the, leave the lights on
Leave 'em lights on
Leave 'em, leave 'em lights on, on
Do it side on
Switch and let me ride on
Got all night long
Leave 'em, leave 'em lights on, on, on, on

[Verse 2]
Won't close my eyes
Show me what you can do (you can do), do (yeah)
I know your vibe
D'Angelo and penthouse views, yeah, views

[Pre-Chorus]
Ain't seen this side of me
Fluent in the sheets
Can you read in between me?
I ain't a stranger to the foreplay
So we can skip to wordplay, yeah

[Chorus]
Leave the lights on
Leave the, leave the lights on
Leave them lights on
Leave 'em, leave 'em lights on, on
Do it, side on
Switch and let me ride on
Got all night long
Leave them lights on
Leave 'em, leave 'em lights on, on, on, on

[Bridge]
Leave the lights on
Leave the lights on
Leave the lights on, yeah
Switch your side on, side on
Oh yeahhh

H.E.R.

H.E.R is an acronym for the phrase Having Everything Revealed, which is used as a moniker by Gabriella Wilson. The singer, who is signed to RCA Records was known for keeping her real identity under

“The mystery is a metaphor of who I am, of who I was at the time of creating the project. I feel like oftentimes we don’t like to be open as people about out emotions or things that we are going through. At the time [of recording], I was very closed off except for when I was writing or when I was in the studio.”

First showing up on the scene at SoundCloud when she dropped her first EP in 2016, H.E.R., Vol 1, followed up with H.E.R., Vol. 2. Her music is mixed with inspirations of R&B, hip-hop, and soul.
