In This Moment is a heavy metal band based out of Los Angeles, California. They are best known for songs such as “Whore” and “Blood.”

The band was formed in 2005 by lead singer Maria Brink and guitarist Chris Howorth. They feature three additional members as well. Originally known as ‘Dying Star’ before swapping members and direction, In This Moment released their first album, Beautiful Tragedy in early 2007.

They blew up in 2012 with the release of their hit album, Blood—debuting at #15 on on the *Billboard 200 and achieving gold-certified status with the RIAA.
