I am yours and you are mine, come what may
A love like ours remains divine, come what may
Even though we're miles apart, you're living in my lonely heart
Even though the tear drops start, fills the long, long day

Got your picture near me since you went away
Plant a kiss upon my lips both night and day
Bearing mind that you are fine, a love that's true
And I'll be here for you, come what may

I am yours and you are mine, come what may
Love like our remains divine, come what May
And a kiss upon your lips, I'll place my hands upon your hips
I'll kiss your lovin' lips, everything's fine so fine, fine, fine

I'd like to hold you, squeeze you tight, 'cause you are mine
Oh, I miss you so, can't let you go, hunny love is mine
And my bearing mind that you are fine, a love that's true
And I'll be here for you, come what may

And I'll be here for you, come what may, baby please
I'll be here for you, come what may

Jerry Lee Lewis

Jerry Lee Lewis was a leading figure in the popularization of rock & roll during the 1950s. He was first signed to Sun Records in 1956 where he was labelmates with Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison, and other early rock artists. Of those musicians, however, he was the only piano player and combined with his heavy-handed playing style, sexually suggestive lyrics, and provocative stage antics he came to epitomize the rebelliousness of the genre.

He rose to international fame for his 1957 versions of the songs “Great Balls of Fire” and “Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On.”

Lewis' popularity rapidly tumbled, however, when in 1958, when at the age of 22, he married his 13-year-old cousin. Though this scandal continued to tarnish his image, Lewis never retired from music. As of October 2015, he continues to perform live.
