[Verse 1]
This is the saddest story I have ever heard
Call early in the morning when I got the word
She says that it's his son, he says not at all
Please miss me with the excuses
I am not involved, no not at all

[Pre-Chorus]
Calm down
You know my heart
Can't take anymore, damn
Said this before, yeah

[Chorus]
Do you remember, do you remember you?
Do you remember, you remember who you were?
Do you remember who you were?
Do you remember, you remember you?
Do you remember, you remember who you were to me?
Cause I do

[Verse 2]
Tell all the homies that you're the one to blame
And when you speak my name
I'd like you to explain the lies you told me
That's why I walked away
I never did complain
You never heard me say, "You's a sucka ass, busta ass"
If they ask, tell them that I ain't mad
I'm just sad it never worked out
Now you coming back, second chance, fuck all that
You gave her what we had
And yet still there's no love loss here, yeah

[Pre-Chorus]
Calm down
You know my heart
Can't take anymore, damn
Said this before, yeah

[Chorus]
Do you remember, do you remember you?
Do you remember, you remember who you were?
Do you remember who you were?
Do you remember, you remember you?
Do you remember, you remember who you were to me?
Cause I do

[Outro]
I do
I, I
Do you remember, do you remember you?
Do you remember, do you who you were to me?
Cause I do

Jhené Aiko

Jhené Aiko Efuru Chilombo (born March 16, 1988) started her career under the moniker Jhené Aiko when she was 13 with the music group B2K. She explained how she later opted out of the deal to go back to high school and have her daughter Namiko in an interview back in July 2012 with Lozza

I was signed with Sony/EPIC when I was 12 years old and got a release from them when I was about 15 or 16 to focus on school. I started writing more and I had a child who’s now three years old.

After the failed release of her debut album, My Name Is Jhené back in 2003, Jhené released her debut mixtape, Sailing Soul(s) on March 16, 2011.
