[Verse 1: JL]
In my testimony, never front
You can get a glimpse how my mind' work
Like I'm hopped up off a key bump at a Kanye West concert
High on the Devil's lettuce
Sippin' a cup of the Devil's nectar
Giving you a long-winded lecture
Smoke, dance through the dream catcher
Crossed my heart and kissed the rosary
While I'm looking for the fourth clover leaf
Wouldn't say that I believe in luck
Or that I was superstitious so to speak, but
Got on my good luck charm
Got a ladybug on my arm
Luck ain't got nothing to do with it
Saying that it wouldn't do me no harm
I got aloe vera hanging from the ceiling
I got bamboo, bloodstone crystals
Rubbed the belly on the laughing Buddha
Then I cleaned the barrel of the chrome pistols
Dealing with my own issues
World stopped, but my dome spinnin'
Keeping it unlocked and bet they gon' feel 'em
'Cause the speaker knocking, makin' bone chillin'

[Bridge: JL]
Still in a war
Keeping us divided, try'na kill the allure
Terrifying thinking 'bout what still is in store
We haven't decided what to feel anymore
But we kneel to the floor

[Chorus: JL]
Empty churches, empty streets
Boarded rims, empty swings
It's the end of the world, we know
So no matter what, can't go do your same ol' rigmarole
We can pretend like we ain't been grieving
Feel defeated and descend
Like it isn't nothing, any reason defend
We just needed something to believe in again
A means to an end

[Verse 2: JL]
I'll do anything for better luck
I know confidently it would not control this
Found a penny that was heads up
Picked it up and threw it in a pond of goldfish
Dig at the end of the rainbow
Maybe that'll help me feel special
Sentimental shit I'll never let go
Waving back at the Maneki Neko
The cat been beckonin'
I done let it out the bag, I probably should have kept it in
Nigga lookin' malevolent, I'm evidently spotted like leopard print
Got a lead-foot, never lied backpedalin'
A money magnet bet and win
Laws of attraction cause a reaction
Prayed first put it in a verse
Now it's in the universe, I believe it's gotta happen

[Verse 3: Tech N9ne]
Everybody passin', they made up an assassin
To hit us in a flesh when it clash with a pathogen
I'ma get to blassin' the Gat 'til I'm back at them
Put 'em in a bag and I fasten 'em
Wanna murder me with the virus
You can see the itis in the iris
Abide is nothing I'ma try, we're gonna fight it
The riot is about to fly 'cause we divided
Slighted, you can hear the cries, I'll never hide it
All of this puppetry, media repeatedly telling me what to be
Utterly fuckery
Yo, what's up with these uppities
Rushing to stuff a G, gut us with cutlery
Wanna consume a nigga brain, yeah
Wanna resume when niggas hang, yeah
Never that coon that live in chains
Better yet, goon that bang that'll be soon to reign, yeah
Itching to merk me
It don't matter if a nigga wanna live in a clergy
I'ma sit in a surgi-center
But on a mission to merk these— criminals when I listen to Percy
They must want the king to begin
To bringing us in
Shotguns scream in the wind
I'm dreaming again
You gotta have a team and a kin
For helping you with a means to an end

[Bridge: JL]
We still in a war
Terrifying thinking 'bout what still is in store
But we kneel to the floor

[Chorus: JL]
Empty churches, empty streets
Boarded rims, empty swings
It's the end of the world, we know
So no matter what, can't go do your same ol' rigmarole
We can pretend like we ain't been grieving
Feel defeated and descend
Like it isn't nothing, any reason defend
We just needed something to believe in again
