[Chorus: KALEB MITCHELL]
Ayy, yeah
I was in that lunch line
Scraping up my change, yeah
I was catching buses
Now we catching planes, yeah
Ayy, through it all I stayed the same
Don’t switch on me now
You was not around
Dog I stayed down
Yeah
I stayed down
Don’t switch on me now, dog I stayed down
Aye, yeah, I stayed down
I stayed down
I stayed down

[Verse 1: KALEB MITCHELL]
Ayy, back when I was walking through the hallways
Always had a dream of doing something bigger
Ayy
Funny how they let you do the ground work
Then they wanna come around and build with you
Ayy
Always been a hundred with my dogs
Down since day one and I’m still wit em
Ayy
Never let nobody get a seat up at the table
If they wasn’t in the field with you
Thought I told you I could never let up
Chilling on the spending
I been tryna get my bread up
I was in the lab til 3, just to get up at 6
Tryna catch the bus, no Jerome Bettis, tuh
No days off I ain’t clocked out yet
I just kept my head down tryna get it, yeah
Had to take a whole lotta L’s
Just to get where I am
Now the whole team winning, yeah
BENCHWRMRS been a roll
Since I was on honor roll
I had the vision
I just got off of the road
Killing like every show, all independent
Don’t you act like you didn’t know
I told these suckers before, I was gon' kill em
I sold them beats for the low
Just so I could buy me clothes
Man oh what a feeling, you get me

[Chorus: KALEB MITCHELL]
I was in that lunch line
Scraping up my change, yeah
I was catching buses
Now we catching planes, yeah
Ayy, through it all I stayed the same
Don’t switch on me now
You was not around
Dog I stayed down
Yeah
I stayed down
Don’t switch on me now, dog I stayed down
Ayy, yeah, I stayed down
I stayed down
I stayed down

[Verse 2: Aha Gazelle]
At the building, got a shooter
Tell everybody they self can be self therapeutic
Only trash talk, no walk by scooter
Only thing that you doin', why you talkin' all you're doin' is polluting
I was working on some Lucius, the enemy is present that's confusion
A lot of evil powers are colludin', pursuin', recruitin' tryna find somebody looking stupid
What's worse they're falling for a loser
Fightin' for illusions
They know I'm the rip, I ain't, I ain't gotta prove it
Chillin' where the thoughts came down like Susan
Any other time I'm in the dungeon making music
When I'm writing songs I just let the Lord use me
I could make a me for a people for a Greek
Holler "Free Barabbas" they already know the tape
Drug use pen but people use words
A lot of people hurtin', it really makes me sick

[Outro: KALEB MITCHELL]
Stay down, down, down, down, down. down
Don't switch on me now, dog I stayed down
I stayed
Thank you Kyle, thank you Kyle
I done been to hell and back
Shot a lot, seen it all
They were trying to bring me down
Tell them niggas I'ma ball
Kenny do by any means
I can't take another loss
Put the city on the map
Got a problem we solve it
