[Verse 1:]
As I started to grow up
I was still a little girl
Mama used to tell me
To stay away from boys like you
But I listened to my heart
And not my mama’s words
Then I got blown out the box by you

It felt so good, I don’t know what to do
It may be wrong, but it’s true
It’s all about the things you do to me
And now I’m all turned out

[Chorus:]
I used to be a nice girl
Now I’m all turned out
I used to be a good, good girl
Now I’m all turned out
I used to have high values
Now I’m all turned out
Now I’m a wild girl
Now I’m all turned, all turned out

[Verse 2:]
Never had such an affair
I was an all-American girl
Now I must confess I’m a mess
When you asked me to be your lady
Knowing your intentions were shady
I knew it was the end of
My good girl days

‘Cause you always knew
The things to do to me, baby
To take me to the edge of ecstasy
And all it took was just one little push
And now I’m all turned out

[Chorus] (2x)

[Bridge:]
You’re suave, you’re cool
You’ve got such devilish charms
You tempted me with love
To get me into your arms
When you touch me
I can’t think of anything else
Than getting you alone
And all to myself

[Hook:]
Now I’m turned out
All turned out
Now I’m turned out
All turned out
Now I’m turned out
All turned out
Now I’m turned out
All turned, all turned out

[Wedding march plays]

[Outro: Cheryl Cooley]
Uh, honey, now wait a minute
Uh, I’m not that turned out
You gonna have to change your tune
Hit it, sisters

[“All Turned Out” gets reprised with pipe organ]

Klymaxx

Klymaxx is one of the first and most-prominent all-girl funk bands. Getting started in the early 1980’s, the band hit their stride in the middle of the decade with hits like “The Men All Pause,” “Meeting In The Ladies Room,” “I Miss You,” and “I’d Still Say Yes.”

With multiple band members all playing their instruments live, the frontmost members were lead singers Lorena “Lungs” Porter, the feather-voiced Joyce “Fenderella” Irby, and attitudinal rapstress and group founder Bernadette Cooper.

Regarding the creation of the group’s name, Klymaxx, Cheryl Cooley said:
