[Verse 1]
Got all these pictures on my phone to remind me of you
Mmm, but they're just triggers for my heart to keep me missing you
And I know you’ll be back, it's not long 'til I see you again
But the distance is killing me even though it’s not the end

[Chorus]
Wherever you go, take a little bit of me
Wherever you go, don't forget what it's like being next to me
Oh, next to me
The minute you go far away, I get stuck on the feeling of low
Oh-woah, wherever you go takе a little bit of me

[Verse 2]
I go to parties, talk to strangеrs to distract myself
Then I go home early just so I can talk to you again
And I know you'll be back, it's not long 'til I see you again
But the distance is killing me even though it's not the end

[Chorus]
Oh, wherever you go take a little bit of me
Wherever you go, don't forget what it’s like being next to me
Oh, next to me
The minute you go far away, I get stuck on the feeling of low
Oh-woah, wherever you go take a little bit of me

[Bridge]
Take a little bit, take a little bit
Take a little bit, take a little bit
Take a little bit, take a little bit
Take a little bit, take a little bit
Take a little bit, take a little bit
Take a little bit, take a little bit

[Chorus]
Wherever you go, take a little bit of me
Wherever you go don’t forget what it's like being next to me
Oh, next to me
The minute you go far away, I get stuck on the feeling of low
Oh-woah, wherever you go take a bit
Wherever you go, take a bit
Wherever you go, take a little bit of me

Lola Lennox

Now living in Los Angeles by way of London, Lola Lennox walks the line between emotional vulnerability and female Pop power. It’s Pop with integrity, with diary-like entires exploring love, loss, hope, fear and human nature. Working alongside top songwriters such as Eg White (Florence + The Machine, Sam Smith), Dan Wilson (Adele) and Dan Muckala (Leona Lewis, LeAnn Rimes), Lola is creating songs that bridge the gap between nostalgia and modernity. Her latest single ‘Pale’ (writers Lola Lennox and Andy Stochansky) was written “about a time in my life where I lost someone I loved, I knew that I would never see him again and processing this had a deep impact on me. Pale captures my sense of the world whilst mourning this person, life itself lost its vibrancy, all the colours turned to grey.” Pale is produced by Scott Salinas and Co-produced by Annie Lennox and Dan Muckala.
Her first single, ‘In The Wild’ (writers Lola Lennox and Jon Green) was released in February 2020 and featured in People Magazine, Refinery 29, Access Hollywood and placed in Apple’s ‘Today’s Easy Hits’ playlist.
In addition to her solo music, Lola was asked by Simon Fuller to collaborate with Goldfrapp’s Will Gregory on the soundtrack for the Discovery Channel’s ‘Serengeti’ docu-series. Lola participated in ‘One Together At Home’, singing a duet with her mother, Annie Lennox, on the track ‘There Must Be An Angel’. Her latest single ‘Pale’ was released on April 17, 2020.
