A lifetime of loving is what I've dreamed of
I'm a ?? whose never been loved
And I just can't believe I found someone like you
With time on my side, all of my dreams can't come true

But I've been so lonely so long
And I can't be wrong
So give me some time to believe this is real
I've been so lonely so long
And I carried you on
So give me some time to know what I feel

I can't help believing when you whispered my name
'Cause there's something about it that drives me insane
Oh the way that you touch me only makes me feel fine
I can see in your eyes you've got trouble on your mind

But I've been so lonely so long
And I can't be wrong
So give me some time to believe this is real
I've been so lonely so long
And I carried you on
So give me some time to know what I feel

I've been lonely so long
