Sweet mama, you been dropping shucks on me
Now I'm gonna drop them on you
I caught you with your sweet man the other night
And I know you was untrue
So hey sweet mama, way last fall
That you come and find another mule in your stall

You been dropping shucks on me
And now I'm gonna drop shucks on you
Roses are red, and violets are blue
You run and talk but I'm cooking
What's the matter with you?
You read about your papa saying he was it
This sweet mama I got, just won't quit

You been dropping shucks on me
And now I'm gonna throw them on you
