[Intro]
Fire, f-fire, this is

[Verse 1]
Heed the warning sign that says it goes like this
I swear I came prepared, boy, how could I miss?
Yes, I’m about to ring it and that’s my que just to lay low
You’re prying on the floor, looking for exit, anywhere to go

Fire drill, I feel it heating up
Fire drill, call 911
Fire drill, I’m turning overload
Fire drill, you said “open the love inside of me”

[Pre-Chorus]
Stop that, drop that, grow up
My heart is on a fire drill now
I’m begging hard, let’s make a deal, deal
But please don’t show her that he’s near me

[Chorus]
Fire, f-fire, this is a firе drill
Fire, f-fire, caught in a fire drill

[Verse 2]
I was giving you pеrmission to play around in my head
You’re cocky and I feel it, I can extinguish it
Now, let’s just please remember you’re the one who threw the fire
So if you don’t reciprocate then I will throw the water, yeah

Fire drill, I feel it heating up
Fire drill, call 911
Fire drill, I’m turning overload
Fire drill, you said “open the love inside of me”

[Pre-Chorus]
Stop that, drop that, grow up
My heart is on a fire drill now
I’m begging hard, let’s make a deal, deal
But please don’t show her that he’s near me

[Chorus]
Fire, f-fire, this is a fire drill
Fire, f-fire, caught in a fire drill

Stop, drop, fire, f-fire
Stop, my heart is fire, f-fire drill
Stop, fire, f-fire
Stop, my heart is fire, f-fire
Stop, caught in a fire, f-fire
Stop, my heart is fire, f-fire

Stop that, drop that, grow up
My heart is on a fire drill now
I’m begging hard, let’s make a deal, deal
But please don’t show her that he’s near me

Stop that, drop that, grow up
My heart is on a fire drill now
I’m begging hard, let’s make a deal, deal
But please don’t show her that he’s near me

[Chorus]
Fire, f-fire, this is a fire drill
Fire, f-fire, caught in a fire drill

Lyrica Anderson

Pop-oriented R&B singer and songwriter Lyrica Anderson knew her calling as early as middle school, when she performed Brandy’s “I Wanna Be Down” at a talent competition.

With support from her mother, the suburban Los Angeles native entered the music industry shortly thereafter, while still a teenager. From 2004 through 2009, she wrote material for the likes of Tamia (“More”), Keke Palmer (“Footwurkin'”), and Webbie (“I Miss You”), and provided background vocals on a handful of recording sessions.

She gained much more notice in 2010 for “Pyramid,” a Top Ten pop hit she co-wrote for Charice, and then composed material for some top-rung R&B and pop artists, including Beyoncé (“Jealous”), Tinashe (the number 34 R&B/Hip-Hop single “Pretend”), and Jennifer Hudson (“Walk It Out”).
