[Intro]
Ah, ah
Ahh

[Verse 1]
Salt water tears fallin' from my eyes
I don't wanna go to war, I don't wanna fight
You keep me warm
Ain't know that you could burn me with that same light
Thought we had more time
Thought we were more than a moment
Thought we'd be two stars in the universe
Who'd follow the same orbit

[Pre-Chorus]
De yo sin ti no quiero saber
Y yo sin ti no quiero existir

[Chorus]
There's love in lettin' someone leave, believe
Lost things flow back to me, you'll see
Some things happen twice in a lifetime
There's love in lettin' someone leave, believe
Lost things flow back to me, you'll see
Some things happen twice in a lifetime

[Verse 2]
The sound of your words swallowed my whole world
I'd forget my own name before I forget yours, mm-hmm
Before I forget yours

[Pre-Chorus]
De yo sin ti no quiero saber (Ooh)
Y yo sin ti no quiero existir

[Chorus]
There's love in lettin' someone leave, believe
Lost things flow back to me, you'll see
Some things happen twice in a lifetime (Ahh)
There's love in lettin' someone leave, believe
Lost things flow back to me, you'll see
Some things happen twice in a lifetime (Ahh)

[Outro]
Some things happen twice in a lifetime
Some things happen twice in a lifetime (Ahh)

María Isabel

María Isabel Severino (born May 24, 1996), known simply as María Isabel, is a Dominican-American R&B singer, songwriter and model from New York City, USA.

María Isabel grew up in a musical family while living in Queens. She always knew she wanted to make music, citing powerful women such as Alicia Keys, Mariah Carey and Lauryn Hill as her biggest influences.

She studied in the music program at New York University while singing for the campus' a cappella group, APC Rhythm. It was only during her first year at NYU that she started writing and recording her own songs, giving her a new outlet to express her thoughts and feelings. Soon after, she began to gain popularity through her Instagram and SoundCloud, where she would publish covers in addition to her own music.
