[Intro: MARINA]
Whatever you give life, you will get back
Why be a wallflower when you can be a Venus fly trap?

[Chorus: MARINA]
I got the beauty, got the brains
Got the power, hold the reigns
I should be motherfucking crazy
Nothing in this world could change me

[Verse 1: Tove Lo]
They say, "Girl, don't you know you're a woman now? (Ah-ah-ah)
Show some class and keep your head down"
(Keep your head down, ah-ah-ah)
You see me laughing all the way to my happiness
Ooh yeah, I look like a winner in my golden dress
Feel the breeze when I'm flyin', boy, I never rest
Feel the beat whеn I'm banging on my naked chest

[Verse 2: MARINA]
I know that money ain't important
And it don't mеan you're the best
But I earned it all myself
And I'm a millionairess

[Pre-Chorus: MARINA, Tove Lo]
I did it my way, baby
Nothing in this world could change me (No, no)

[Chorus: MARINA & Tove Lo]
Don't underestimate me 'cause one day, you're gonna see
You're in a losing battle, babe
You'll never stop me being me
I got the beauty, got the brains
Got the power, hold the reigns
I should be motherfucking crazy
Nothing in this world could change me

[Verse 3: MARINA]
I sacrificed it all for a life to call mine
All the love and security to be myself, oh, I

[Bridge: MARINA, Tove Lo, Both]
They'll shame you, blame you, pretend to even hate you (Yeah, yeah)
Take away your rights, pacify you with their lies (Yeah, yeah, yeah)
Whatever you give life, you are gonna get back
Why be a wallflower when you can be a Venus fly trap? (Hey)

[Chorus: MARINA, Tove Lo, Both]
Don't underestimate me 'cause one day, you're gonna see
You're in a losing battle, babe
You'll never stop me being me
'Cause whatever you give life, you're gonna get back
Why be a wallflower when you can be a Venus fly trap? (Hey yeah)
Nothing in this world (Oh nothing in this world)
Nothing in this world could change me (Nothing in this world)
(Nothing in this world) Me

Marina Diamandis

Marina Lambrini Diamandis, better known as MARINA (formerly Marina and the Diamonds), is a Welsh singer-songwriter and musician.

Growing up in Wales, England and Greece, Marina became “obsessed with becoming a singer, almost as if it was a disease.” After moving to London, it took four years before she established herself as a singer-songwriter. After several independently-released EPs, she placed second on the BBC Sound of 2010 list. In 2010, her debut album, The Family Jewels, was released to critical acclaim and chart success, eventually being certified Gold in the UK.

Her 2012 sophomore album, Electra Heart, was a concept album in which she embraced the titular persona—a vapid, blonde “straight-up pop star” who arose out of her label’s demands for a more commercial pop sound and Marina’s desire to maintain artistic integrity. It became her most successful album, debuting atop the UK, Scotland and Ireland album charts.
