[Verse 1]
One
A part of me’s breaking
You came in my head today
Won’t go away, no
I thought I’d remembered how to forget
Two
Hearts are divided
Now that we’re worlds apart
They seem so hard to take
I thought I'd remembered but not just yet

[Pre-Chorus]
Let's not make this complicated
We were never meant to make it
This time
It’s not too late for us to save this

[Chorus]
So, I didn’t wanna have to go
But we need a little time alone
I can’t bear when you gеt scared
And you try not to let it show
I’ll be so glad I found ya
Thеn I’ll put my arms around ya
When you lay down with me

[Verse 2]
I, heard that you’re different
Know that it’s hurting now
But don’t be down, no
I just wanna know that you’re alright

[Pre-Chorus]
Even though it's complicated
We were never meant to make it
This time
Oh, is it too late for us to save this?

[Chorus]
So, I didn’t wanna have to go
But we need a little time alone
I can’t bear when you get scared
And you try not to let it show
I’ll be so glad I found ya
Then I’ll put my arms around ya
When you lay down with me

[Bridge]
All these fights
Now seem forgettable
‘Cause you’re wonderful
Don’t you know that
Things that we didn’t need to change, at all

[Chorus]
So, I didn’t wanna have to go
But we need a little time alone
But I can’t bear when you get scared
And you try not to let it show
I’ll be so glad I found ya
Then I’ll put my arms around ya (I put my arms around)
When you lay down with me

[Outro]
Lay down with me (Put my arms around ya)
Lay down with me (I put my arms around ya)
Lay down with me
Lay down with me
Lay down with me
Lay down with me (I put my arms around ya)
Lay down with me (I put my arms around ya)
Lay down with me

One Direction

One Direction was an English-Irish pop band based in London, consisting of Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, and previously Zayn Malik. They signed with Simon Cowell’s record label Syco Records after being formed and finishing third in the seventh series of the British televised singing competition The X Factor in 2010. Check out their journey on the competition here.

Propelled to international success by the power of social media, their two albums Up All Night and Take Me Home, released in 2011 and 2012 respectively, broke several records, topped the charts of most major markets, and generated hit singles, including “What Makes You Beautiful” and “Live While We’re Young.”

Their third album, Midnight Memories, introduced a maturing sound. Singles including “Best Song Ever” and “Story of My Life” became smash hits. The music video for “Best Song Ever” even broke the one-day Vevo record, racking up 10.9 million views in 24 hours.
