[Intro]
(Sail away)
She's salty
Da-dum-dum, dum-dum-dum, da-dum
Da-dum-dum, dum-dum-dum, da-dum, ooh yeah
Da-dum-dum, dum-dum-dum, da-dum
Da-dum-dum, dum-dum-dum, da-dum
Yeah-yeah, yeah-yeah

[Verse 1]
You've been stuck in all your sorrows
Like a message in a bottle
Too washed up to know tomorrow, tomorrow
SOS, we're gonna need that
Get you back where you can relax
Too much time spent by yourself, yourself

[Pre-Chorus]
In waves, they come
In waves, they'll go
With a rhythm you'll never know
In waves, they come
In waves, they'll go
With a rhythm

[Chorus]
Sail away with me tonight (Hmm-hmm, hmm-hmm)
In the morning we can leave it all behind (Ooh)
Sail away with me tonight (Hmm-hmm, hmm-hmm)
In the morning we can leave it all for paradise

[Post-Chorus]
Sail away with me tonight
Sail away with me tonight
Sail away with me tonight
Sail away with me tonight

[Verse 2]
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Ayy, back and forth like, "Here we go once again"
It's the second place, you've been stuck in the sand
And the luck wasn't planned, so you don't know the way
It's the same stuff for just a different day
Oh, you can have it all, yeah
Everybody needs some love
You can have it all, yeah
Everybody needs some love

[Pre-Chorus]
In waves, they come
In waves, they'll go
With a rhythm you'll never know
In waves, they come
In waves, they'll go
With a rhythm

[Chorus]
Sail away with me tonight (Hmm-hmm, hmm-hmm)
In the morning we can leave it all behind (Ooh)
Sail away with me tonight (Hmm-hmm, hmm-hmm)
In the morning we can leave it all for paradise

[Post-Chorus]
Sail away with me tonight (Sail away, sail away, sail away)
Sail away with me tonight (Sail away, sail away, sail away)
Sail away with me tonight (Sail away, sail away, sail away)
Sail away with me tonight (Sail away, sail away, sail away)

[Outro]
(Sail away)

Surfaces

Formed in 2017, Surfaces is a Texas-based duo made up of Forrest. and Colin Padalecki, making upbeat, feel-good pop influenced by ‘70s R&B, electronica, and hip-hop.

After working with his cousin in high school, Padalecki continued working on tracks while attending Texas A&M University, where he began posting songs online, which caught the attention of Forrest. In December 2017, Surfaces released their debut album, Surf, which included the song “Be Alright.”

The track gained fans online and helped build buzz for the duo, who eventually found themselves touring in support of the album. In 2019, they issued their sophomore LP, Where the Light Is, which included “Sunday Best,” catapulting the duo into the spotlight. Surfaces returned with their third album, Horizons, in 2020.
