[Verse 1]
Sometimes its hard for me to see
What you got planned to make me happy
But I will stop you here and now
And tell you I'm glad you're my friend

[Chorus 1]
Whoa thankin' you for the sun in the sky
Thankin' you for the moon and moonlight
I wanna thank you everyday
For the universal sound of the world

[Verse 2]
When I am down and I wear a frown
Your spirit lifts me up like a crown
I wonder who else in the world
Is feelin' like I'm feelin' now

[Chorus 2]
Thank you for nature's helpin' hand
Thank you for lettin' us use your land
I wanna thank you everyday
For the universal sound of the world
Oh yeah

[Instrumental break]
Yeah yeah yeah
Oh yeah
You are my friend, hey

[Chorus 2]
Thank you for nature's helpin' hand
Thank you for lettin' us use your land
I wanna thank you everyday
For the universal sound of the world
Ah, hey!

[Outro]
La di da di da da
The universal sound of the world
La di da di da da
The universal sound of the world
La di da di da da
The universal sound of the world
Oh oh oh, oh

[Skit]
Your kisses are sweet, sweet as candy
Lots of kisses by me
The kisses are kissed
Let me kiss you
*smack*
How much you gonna kiss me
'Cause I like [?] and [?]
Mommy said if I kiss you I get a bad breath
