[Verse 1]
All along I had to talk about it
I can do as someone who can really stands me
All alone, when you look for me girl
You sit behind the mask, and you control me girl

Yesterday he had you in his arms
When I'm holding you, I feel his bitter charms (bitter charms)
I can't judge what you do to me
Camouflage the truth, indulge your fantasy

[Pre-Chorus]
Who do you love? Is it me, now? Is it him, babe? I don't know
Who do you love? Is it me, now? Is it him, babe? I don't know
Who do you love? Is it me, now? Is it him, babe? I don't know
Who do you love? Is it me, now? Is it him, babe? I don't know

[Verse 2]
Was I invited to your masquerade?
When the party's over, and I take off your face
Cheer in love and it's hard to see
When you're in his arms, you're throwing rocks at me

[Pre-Chorus]
Who do you love? Is it me, now? Is it him, babe? I don't know
Who do you love? Is it me, now? Is it him, babe? I don't know
Who do you love? (Who do you love?)
Who do you love? (Who do you love?)

[Chorus]
(There is nothing in your eyes)
There is nothing in your eyes
(That's the way you cry)
That's the way you cry, girl
(All is brilliant, all is bright)
All is brilliant, all is bright
(There is nothing in your eyes)
I'm just confused, babe

(There is nothing in your eyes)
There is nothing in your eyes
(That's the way you cry)
That's the way you cry, girl
(All is brilliant, all is bright)
All is brilliant, all is bright
(There is nothing in your eyes)

[Verse 3]
Walk around, stuck within my gloom
When I come to you, and I sit in your room
Truth is new, I have another trace
Take off the mask, so I can see your face

[Pre-Chorus]
Who do you love? Is it me, now? Is it him, babe? I don't know
Who do you love? Is it me, now? Is it him, babe? I don't know
Who do you love? Is it me, now? Is it him, babe? I don't know
Who do you love? Is it me, now? Is it him, babe? I don't know
Who do you love? (Who do you love?)
Who do you love? (Who do you love?)
Who do you love? (Who do you love?) Is it me, now? Is it him, babe? I don't know
Who do you love? (Who do you love?) Is it me, now? Is it him, babe? I don't know

The Human League

The Human League are a synth pop band from Sheffield, England, formed in 1977. They generated a string of synthesizer-backed dance pop hits throughout the 80s. David Bowie dubbed the group “the sound of the future” in 1981.

The band is best known for its third studio album released in 1981, Dare! The fourth single from Dare, “Don’t You Want Me,” catapulted to #1 in the UK and US.

Phil Oakey is the only core member of the group. The band’s first incarnation was as an arty all-male synthesizer group, composed of Oakey, Martyn Ware, and Ian Craig Marsh. In the 1980s, Ware and Marsh left the group after continued conflicts with Oakey—they went on to form Heaven 17.
