[Verse 1: Danny O'Donoghue]
Woke up this morning, can't shake the thunder from last night
You left with no warning and took the summer from my life
I gave you my everything, now my world it don't seem right
Can we just go back to being us again?

[Bridge: Danny O'Donoghue]
'Cause when I'm sitting in the bar
All the lovers with umbrellas always pass me by
It's like I'm living in the dark
And my heart's turned cold since you left my life
And no matter where I go
Girl, I know if I'm alone, there'll be no blue sky
I don't know what I'm doing wrong

[Chorus: Danny O'Donoghue]
'Cause baby, when you're gone
All it does is rain, rain, rain down on me
Each drop is pain, pain, pain when you leave
It's such a shame we fucked it up, you and me
'Cause baby, when you're gone all it does is rain

[Post-Chorus: Danny O'Donoghue & Nicky Jam]
And it feels like, oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh-oh (Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)
Oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh-oh (Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)
And it feels like, oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh-oh (Oh-oh)
'Cause baby, when you're gone all it does is rain

[Verse 2: Nicky Jam]
Tu me tiene' delirando como un loco mental (Mental)
Dime por qué te fuiste me tiene' que orientar
Te llamo por la noche y no quiere' contestar
Te juro si regresas no me vo'a portar mal
Hasta el final del mundo te buscaré
Y el universo te lo daré
Girl, I'm crazy, I can't stay without you, without you
Y yo te llamo en la mañana y te llamo en la noche y no me contestas
No, no sé que voy a hacer, me tiene' aquí como un loquito, mami, ¿dónde estás?
En esta triste soledad
Ay, yo no sé ni qué pensar (No)
Mami, dame otra oportunidad, oportunidad

[Post-Chorus: Danny O'Donoghue & Nicky Jam]
And it feels like, oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh-oh (Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)
Oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh-oh
And it feels like, oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh-oh (Oh-oh-oh)

The Script

The Script is an Irish pop rock band based in Dublin, Ireland. The band consists of lead singer Danny O'Donoghue, guitarist Mark Sheehan, and drummer Glen Power. Their music is fashioned from the emotional detritus of their own hard lives raised up by a love of pop, rock, hip hop and soul.

Danny explains them the best, saying

You know what The Script is? It’s the journey from a feeling of devastation in the pit of my stomach, for me to be able to think about that, put it into words, to be able to sing it, a band to play it, for you to hear it, to go to your brain, to understand it and for you to replicate that same feeling. It’s such an amazing thing. You couldn’t work it out with a calculator. But that’s what we try and do.
