[Intro: Drake]
That's the wrong thing
That's the wrong thing to
That's the wrong thing to do
That's the wrong thing
That's the wrong thing to
That's the wrong thing to do

[Verse 1: Oliver Sim + Drake]
I turned a blind eye
Let the borders get wavy
Nothing touches me lately
Shouldn't I be having fun?
That's the wrong thing to
That's the wrong thing to do
It's hard to define
When my memory's hazy
Everyone's trying to save me
Can't they see I'm having fun?
That's the wrong thing to
That's the wrong thing to do

[Chorus: Oliver Sim + Romy Madley Croft]
Something's wrong, but I choose to be naive
Can't tell no one what it means to me
Something's wrong, but I choose to be naive
And the longer that I leave it, I can feel it taking over me

[Instrumental Interlude]

[Verse 2: Romy Madley Croft]
Shy away and hide out
When it's calling me out
When it's weighing me down
I'll play it down
When all the trouble I've found
Comes back around
If it's catching me now
That's the wrong thing
I'll play it down
That's the wrong thing to
That's the wrong thing to do

[Chorus: Romy]
Something's wrong, but I choose to be naive
Can't tell no one what it means to me
Something's wrong, but I choose to be naive
And the longer that I leave it, I can feel it taking over me
[Oliver]
Something's wrong, but I choose to be naive

Something's wrong, but I choose to be naive
[Drake]

That's the wrong thing

[Outro: Romy]
Either way, I play it down
Either way, I play it down
Either way, I play it down
I play it down
[Drake]
That's the wrong thing
That's the wrong thing
That's the wrong thing
That's the wrong thing

[Romy]
Either way, I play it down
Either way, I play it down
Either way, I play it down
I play it down
[Oliver]
Either way, I play it down
Either way, I play it down
Either way, I play it down
I play it down
Can't they see

[Drake]

That's the wrong thing
That's the wrong thing

The xx

The xx burst onto the UK music scene thanks to the unexpected hype behind their debut album xx. Over the course of xx and their follow up Coexist the group firmly established a unique haunting, ambiguous lyrics about love and sex whispered over minimalist takes on dance music.

Comprised of songwriter/vocalists Oliver Sim and Romy Madley Croft plus producer Jamie xx, this South London-based group has been in the spotlight since they made xx at 20 (xx is the Roman numerals for 20). Baria Qureshi, the bassist/keyboardist who formed the group with Oliver, Romy, and Jamie, exited the band in late 2009 after a decision made by the other 3 members.
