[Intro]
Ooh, ooh

[Verse 1]
Cold in the night when I hold you close
Searching your eyes, but you're gone like a ghost

[Pre-Chorus]
And I said "baby, you can put it on me"
'Cause I know I don't make it easy
My body hurts with every heart beat
Just say I'm not the only one

[Chorus]
C'mon, tell me that you've still got the flame for me
And tell me that you still want to stay, don't leave
Even though I never give you nothing but hurt
Even though the better part of me, it don't work
Baby, tell me that you've still got the flame for me
And we can let it burn
Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh

[Verse 2]
I'll pay any price for the wrongs I've done
It's all you can do when you love someone, oh

[Pre-Chorus]
And I said "Baby, you can put it on me"
'Cause I know I don't make it easy
My body hurts with every heart beat
Just say I'm not the only one

[Chorus]
C'mon, tell me that you've still got the flame for me
And tell me that you still want to stay, don't leave
Even though I never give you nothing but hurt
Even though the better part of me, it don't work
Baby, tell me that you've still got the flame for me
And we can let it burn
Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh

[Bridge]
And I know and I know I can't make you
I can't make you let go (Don't let go)
And I don't and I don't and I don't blame you
'Cause I hurt you before
Tell me

[Chorus]
C'mon, tell me that you've still got the flame for me
And tell me that you still want to stay, don't leave
Even though I never give you nothing but hurt
Even though the better part of me, it don't work
Baby, tell me that you've still got the flame for me
And we can let it burn

[Outro]
Ooh, ooh
And let it burn
Let it burn, let it burn
Ohh yeah, baby

Tinashe

Tinashe Jorgenson Kachingwe, known mononymously as Tinashe, is an American singer-songwriter, actress, dancer, and former model born in Lexington, Kentucky and raised in Los Angeles, California.

Born on February 6, 1993, her rise to fame began with her acting on shows such as Two and a Half Men. Initially making her debut in the music industry via the short-lived girl group The Stunners—which also featured Hayley Kiyoko—she garnered attention from online music blogs with her 2012 mixtape, In Case We Die. Signing with RCA Records shortly after, she released two further mixtapes later that year and in 2013: Reverie and Black Water respectively. “2 On” was released in January 2014 as the lead single from her debut album, Aquarius, and remains her biggest solo single to date. Released in October that year, the album was praised by critics for its merging of old-school R&B sounds and fresh 2010s trends. The follow-up was subjected to much-criticised although “Player” was billed as the collection’s lead single as early as October 2015, songs released from the project failed to reach the label’s expectations, resulting in the release of an album’s worth of outtakes from the album, Nightride, in November 2016. Joyride was finally released on April 13: it features the singles “No Drama”, “Faded Love” and “Me So Bad”.

On February 18, 2019, Tinashe parted ways with her longtime record label RCA. By November that year, she inked a new management deal with Roc Nation and self-released Songs for You, her fourth studio album.
