[Chorus: Toni Braxton]
I don't need anybody for nothing (For nothing)
Turned and left me in the cut and now I'm hunting (Now hunting)
Heart away
Heart away
Heart away
He took my heart away

[Verse 1: Toni Braxton]
He took my heart away, bad man with bad manners
Played me like I was a habit
Middle finder he could have it
I used to dream of living lavish, now a girl's a living legend
I drown my soul in my fashion
If I ain't eating then I'm fasting, no
[?]
That I could fit (To couldn't fit it)
It didn't work so I gave it to one of my sisters
Had her check in the back of my Benz (For real)
Guess what I did? (What?)
I woke up he next day and packed up my deal
Uh-uh so me and my kids

[Verse 2: Toni Braxton]
He took my heart away
Didn't know how to say, a prayer (just giving that love away)
I had to baller play
He gave my heart away
I've been through harder days
Hell no, I was just in my Bentley
Hanging with Stunna, respect

[Chorus:Toni Braxton]
I ain't asking anybody for nothing
Till you left me in the cut and now I'm hunting
Heart away
Heart away
Heart away
He took my heart away
(Heart away)
He took my heart away
(Heart away)
Heart away
(Heart away)
He took my heart away
Heart away
Heart away
Heart away

[Verse 3: Birdman]
I got something worth more than money
Go to church, feed the birds on Sundays
So much pain I took you away from it
When I pull up on you I'm stunting
You got a bad man feeling good
Got a rich nigga from the hood
But I ain't never had nothing like it
Had a few broads or hoes but I ain't like it
Know a nigga want it all
Know I'm shooting for the stars
Know I'm buying all the cars
Five star be the don
Matching cars on the beach
Ball hard and Ima treat ya
Private plane baby come meet ya
Whole bag of cash when I greet ya
Overseas and we high
Steering wheel the right side
Good girl with the bad guys
I took her heart I won't lie

[Chorus: Toni Braxton]
He took my heart away
Didn't know how to say a prayer (just giving that love away)
I had to baller play
He gave my heart away
I been through harder days
Hell no, I was just in LA in my Bentley
Hanging with Stunna, respect
I don't need anybody for nothing
Till you left me in the cut and now I'm hunting
Heart away
Heart away
Heart away
He took my heart away
(Heart away)
He took my heart away
(Heart away)
Heart away
(Heart away)
He took my heart away
Heart away
Heart away
Heart away

Toni Braxton

Toni Braxton (born on October 7, 1967) is an American singer-songwriter, pianist, record producer, actress, and philanthropist, and has been active since 1989. She is best known for her single “Unbreak My Heart” and her second album Secrets. Braxton was discovered early by William E. Pettaway Jr., who helped her launch her career.

Braxton first started performing with her four sisters in a family band titled “The Braxtons” in the late 1980s, successfully attracting the attention of Antonio “L.A.” Reid and Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, who were co-artists Braxton’s songs, including her signature song, Un-Break My Heart.

L.A. Reid and Babyface brought Braxton in as a substitution and had her record a demo of “Love Shoulda Brought You Home”. The song made it onto the soundtrack of the movie Boomerang, giving her early success and recognition. Braxton started recording her solo debut album at LaFace Records on July 13, 1993, quickly gaining popularity as it peaked at number one on the U.S. Billboard 200 Albums Chart. Braxton’s debut album has won her several awards, including three Grammy Awards. Her debut album also won her two American Music Awards.
