[Intro]
Two, three, four

[Verse 1]
Friday nights under gymnasium lights
Makin' such a brainless ruckus on the F train
Holdin' hands 'cause you're too hipster to dance
Makin' fun of all the teachers and their first names
Oh woah oh

[Chorus]
So close your eyes with your head on my shoulder
Make this moment last 'cause we keep gettin' older
When you close your eyes with your head on my shoulder
Make this moment last 'cause we keep gettin' older
Mmm and now we're more than friends
Woah, woah, woah

[Verse 2]
Here we are on your boulevard
Thinkin' why the hell did we show up to the home game
Holdin' on before the moment's gone
And we're all adults stuck quiet on the F train
Mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm

[Chorus]
So close your eyes with your head on my shoulder
Make this moment last 'cause we keep gettin' older
When you close your eyes with your head on my shoulder
Make this moment last 'cause we keep gettin' older
Mmm and now we're more than friends
Woah, woah, woah
Now we're more than friends
Woah, woah, woah

[Bridge]
It's been long, the longest road
'Til it all tumbles like a domino
Maybe it's time that we try
I won't give up on you
If you're feelin' anything like the way I do
Let's make a memory from tonight, woah
I think it's right
Friday nights under gymnasium lights
Makin' such a brainless ruckus on the F train

[Chorus]
So close your eyes with your head on my shoulder
Make this moment last 'cause we keep gettin' older
When you close your eyes with your head on my shoulder
Make this moment last 'cause we keep gettin' older
Mmm and now we're more than friends
Woah, woah, woah
Now we're more than friends
Woah, woah, woah
And now we're more than friends

AJR

The indie-pop band AJR—three brothers born and raised in New York City—achieved a startlingly quick level of success with 2013 track “I’m Ready", a buoyant electro-pop smash that was featured in the trailer for Amy Schumer’s Trainwreck and became certified US Platinum in 2015.

Adam Met (bass/vocals), is the oldest brother, a Columbia University graduate. Ryan Met (ukulele/piano/vocals), a bespectacled ‘94 kid is the band’s main songwriter, also having co-written Andy Grammer hits “Back Home” and the certified gold “Good To Be Alive”. Jack Met (vocals/guitar), is the lead vocalist who splits time between the band and attending Columbia.

AJR began in 2005, busking on the streets and in the parks of New York. Raised on vinyls from the 50s and 60s, AJR was initially inspired by the likes of The Beach Boys and Frankie Valli, but the original sound they’ve now created resembles a modern mix of those classic sounds, with flavors of Imagine Dragons, fun., and hip-hop production elements pointing towards Kanye West.
