(Ohh-oh, we the cool kids)

Wake up in the morning feeling like I do
Bike around an alley just to wait for you
Friends will be mistaken for a [pair of pants??]
Oh, give me just a minute while I weigh my chance

Oh-ohh
Oh what do you say?
I'm watching you breaking down
Oh what do you say?
Yeah-eh

Today we're gonna feel alright
Won't grow up cause we've got time
Say ohh-oh, we the cool kids
Grass is green, we're here and now
Killing times like chilling down
Say ohh-oh, we the cool kids
I say ohh-oh-ohh, we're the cool kids

Now I guess that we'll be dreaming of a lonely [heart??]
Like [?] I can make you all collapse [?] house of cards
Ohh, [?]
Whoa-ohh, the noisiest crowd can leave a broken fellow standing alone

Whoaa
Oh what do you say?
I'm watching you breaking down
Oh what do you say?
Yeah-eh

Today we're gonna feel alright
Won't grow up cause we've got time
Say ohh-oh, we the cool kids
Grass is green, we're here and now
Killing times like chilling down
Say ohh-oh, we the cool kids. (ohh-oh)
Say ohh-oh, we the cool kids
Yeah

Oh what do you say?
I'm watching you breaking down
Oh what do you say?
Ohh-oh-ohh-ohhh
Oh what do you say?
I'm watching you breaking down
Oh what do you say?
Yeah-yeah-ehhhhh

Today we're gonna feel alright
Won't grow up cause we've got time
Say ohh-oh, we the cool kids. (yeah, cool kids)
Grass is green we're here and now
Killing times like chilling down
Say ohh-oh, we the cool kids

(we the cool kids)
Today we're gonna feel alright
Won't grow up cause we've got time
Say ohh-oh, we the cool kids. (yeah)
Grass is green we're here and now
Killing times like chilling down
Say ohh-oh, we the cool kids

Today we're gonna feel alright. (feel alright)
Won't grow up cause we've got time
Say ohh-oh, we the cool kids
Ohh-ohhh
Grass is green we're here and now. (here and now)
Killing times like chilling down
Say ohh-oh, we the cool kids
Say ohh-oh, we the cool kids
Say ohh-oh, we the cool kids

AJR

The indie-pop band AJR—three brothers born and raised in New York City—achieved a startlingly quick level of success with 2013 track “I’m Ready", a buoyant electro-pop smash that was featured in the trailer for Amy Schumer’s Trainwreck and became certified US Platinum in 2015.

Adam Met (bass/vocals), is the oldest brother, a Columbia University graduate. Ryan Met (ukulele/piano/vocals), a bespectacled ‘94 kid is the band’s main songwriter, also having co-written Andy Grammer hits “Back Home” and the certified gold “Good To Be Alive”. Jack Met (vocals/guitar), is the lead vocalist who splits time between the band and attending Columbia.

AJR began in 2005, busking on the streets and in the parks of New York. Raised on vinyls from the 50s and 60s, AJR was initially inspired by the likes of The Beach Boys and Frankie Valli, but the original sound they’ve now created resembles a modern mix of those classic sounds, with flavors of Imagine Dragons, fun., and hip-hop production elements pointing towards Kanye West.
