You spend all your life waitin' for the main event
Twenty four hours a day and all of it spent

On the racetrack living on the edge
On the racetrack living on the edge

Making breaking records is all that you need
You can't live without it 'cause you're hooked on the speed

On the racetrack living on the edge
On the racetrack living on the edge

It's everything to you, it's all that you know
The start of the race, you hear the engines roar

On the racetrack living on the edge
On the racetrack living on the edge, yeah

It's a racetrack living on the edge
It's a racetrack living on the edge

Racetrack living on the edge
Racetrack living on the edge

……… you've been waiting for
You see ……………………
………………………..
Mmm, ……………, yeah

Come on baby
Come on baby, do it for me now, hu-hu
I need you, feel your engine
……, come on baby
Come on baby, baby, do it, do it

Suffice it to say there are few hard blues-rock bands with more songs that hit the US charts.

Here’s one of them, Bad Company, by Bad Company, off the album Bad
