There's a war going on
And I'm feeling the depression
I'm standing at the front line
Of the Comedy Zone
It's a 90 day freeze
And I'm about to catch Pneumonia
I sure would try to phone ya
But my last dime was gone

Ain't that nothing?
Ain't that nothing?
Ain't that nothing?
Ain't that nothing?

There's a war going on
And I'm feeling the depression
Congress is in session
But they, might as well go home
Cause my taxes gettin' higher
And my pay is gettin' lower
The bus is runnin' slower
And I'm about to lose my home

Ain't that nothing?
Ain't that nothing?
Ain't that nothing?
Ain't that nothing?

Ain't that nothing, hey ya?
Ain't that nothing?
Ain't that nothing?
Ain't that nothing?

There's a war going on
And I'm feeling the depression
Congress is in session
But they, might as well go home
It's a 90 day freeze
And I'm, about to catch Pneumonia
I sure would try to phone ya
But my, last dime was gone

Ain't that nothing...
