As a beach at night, I see you
Just waiting for the day
As if the dawning colors hidden
Had been liking it that way
And I soar high above you
As they carry me away
And all I see has taken me

Back to the tangle of our dreaming
Before the alarm, it begins its screaming
And the sun hasn't started its beaming
And we don't seem
We just be

I will forever meet you there
Where we'll live amongst the starlight
And never are we aware
As sleepily with all our might
You keep me warm, your touch is life
We hold on so very tight
Taken me eternally

Back to the tangle of our dreaming
Before the alarm, it begins its screaming
And the sun hasn't started its beaming
And we don't seem
We just be

Were we so free
To forever just be
Our hearts finally able to see
And I with you
In our dreams coming true
Where passion grew until we were new

Eventually comes morning
And we no longer hide
In a world beneath our covers
If only we could only stay inside
Like a beach at night, I feel you there
Like the moon can feel the tide
Forever my heart abides

Back to the tangle of our dreaming
Before the alarm, it begins its screaming
And the sun hasn't started its beaming
And we don't seem
We just be
