Panic is delicious
And sorrow simply tempts
And neither are as vicious
As the pain that each preempts
Where there's hope that's ash to choke on
The more you have, the more you taste
And the very things you love the most
Are the very things you waste

But if I could lift above the fall
Of tears and other rain
Take from you
That bit or blew

But always something
Is at your door
The wolf is bumpin'
Wanting more

To dance within the agony
Of taking not a stride
Beyond all of the chaos
It's the perfect place to hide
It's not running when you go nowhere
Or have no place to be
Just to shuffle through the tearing smoke
Confused why you can't see

But if I could lift above the fall
Of tears and other rain
Take from you
That bitter blue

But always something
Is at your door
The wolf is bumpin'
Wanting more
It's always something
At your door
The wolf is bumpin'
Wanting more

The wolf is bumpin'
Wanting more
Wanting more
Hey!

What becomes of trouble
When it's everyone who's in
Swirling mad cacophony
That replicates all sin
If it's ever finally over
And at last we get to rest
Monotony and boredom
Will become the final test

But always something
Is at your door
The wolf is bumpin'
Wanting more
There's always something
At your door
The wolf is bumpin'
Wanting more
The wolf is bumpin'
Hey!
The wolf is bumpin'
Yeah!
The wolf is bumpin'
Yeah, yeah!
The wolf is bumpin'
