[Verse 1]
It's funny how stories start out
So true until the time comes they get passed down
Like a game of telephone
It's always wrong by the end of it
The whole origin's off
They let these other crackers tell that there was no Bones
But name every other clone that copped my flows
It's fine, it's cool, I don't need no praise
The accolades that I've acquired mean more than the fame
The most known 'unknown', that was my end goal lane
The underground god, I'll be that to the grave
So listen up close and solve this game
SESH militia on a tank turn your buildings to flames (what?)

[Verse 2]
Even my closest of friends
Still can't understand why I am the way I am
And I can't either, I feel your pain
And I can't blame you, 'cause I feel the same
It's like I'm on a team and sometimes, I feel camaraderie
But on the other hand, I feel alone like I oughta be
Kickin' rocks by myself down the road
I thought we made together but I guess I was wrong
Maybe I'm caught up in my own emotions
Always been sensitive and full of these problems
Too quick to feel 'em, too slow to solve 'em
But if I neglect 'em, it is I who's dissolvin'

[Outro]
I'm my own downfall, there’s nobody to blame
I'm my own downfall, I’ll never be right again

BONES

Elmo Kennedy O'Connor (b. January 11th, 1994), popularly known as BONES (formerly Th@ Kid), is an underground rapper from Muir Beach, CA. He is one of the four members of the “Seshollowaterboyz” and has actively released music under several other aliases, such as surrenderdorthy, OREGONTRAIL, and Ricky A Go-Go.

During his childhood, he and his family moved to the small town of Howell, Michigan where he attended school. Eventually, he dropped out at the age of 16 to pursue rap music. His brother, Elliot O'Connor, now Bones' manager, suggested Elmo come live with him in Los Angeles, California. There, he recorded most of his mixtapes and eventually met Xavier Wulf, Chris Travis, and Eddy Baker, people he eventually toured and performed with under their collective name SeshHollowWaterboyz (SHWB). He is of Irish ancestry and also the grandson of actor Robert Culp.

He’s known for his “emo rap” style of music, which is labeled as strictly his own, as well as the rapid rate he releases music (including 100 music videos and over 50 mixtapes), his resistance to joining major record labels, and charging money for his music, despite major interest by many.
