[Intro]
Oh, no, dreams are not enough
I'm in need of your loving
I'm in need of your touch, yeah

[Verse 1]
I can see a red light burning out on the sad horizon
I feel the fire as the night comes down (Night comes down)
Can't you feel the fever in me? Can't you feel the urgency?
Reach to the darkness but you're not around
I paint the canvas, you're my inspiration
Oh, but I need more than imagination

[Chorus]
Oh, no, dreams are not enough
I'm in need of your loving, I'm in need of your touch
Oh, no, dreams are not enough
And I want you tonight
Dreams are not enough
Woah-oh, dreams are not enough

[Verse 2]
Suddenly the world stops turning
I hear the city breathe
Just for a moment I could see your face
We could be so good together
We could make it last forever
Then all I see is an empty space
Oh, just a trick of light
Just another victim of the night

[Chorus]
Oh, no, dreams are not enough
I'm in need of your loving, I'm in need of your touch
Oh, no, dreams are not enough
And I want you tonight
Dreams are not enough
Woah-oh, dreams are not enough

[Bridge]
Come to me, darling
I want you right now
Come to me, baby, gotta reach you somehow, oh

[Chorus]
Oh, no, dreams are not enough
I'm in need of your loving, I'm in need of your touch
Oh, no, dreams are not enough
And I want you tonight
Dreams are not enough
Oh, no, dreams are not enough
I'm in need of your loving, I'm in need of your touch
Oh, no, dreams are not enough
And I want you tonight
Dreams are not enough

[Outro]
I'm in need of your touch (Dreams are not enough)
Oh, no, dreams are not enough
(Dreams are not enough)
Oh, no, dreams are not enough

Bonnie Tyler

Bonnie Tyler (born Gaynor Hopkins) was born on June 8, 1951 in Skewen, Wales. She was one of the most famous singers in the 80’s and is known for her noticeably rough and husky vocals.

Her first single, charting at #9 in her home country, “Lost In France,” put her in the public eye. After a bit of silence throughout the late 70s and early 80s, her best-selling and best-performing single on the charts of all time, “Total Eclipse of The Heart,” was released. Her 5th album, Faster Than The Speed of Night, also topped the charts in a few countries possibly because it contained Total Eclipse. Another notable song, “Holding Out for a Hero,” was released one year later for the Footloose soundtrack.

Tyler married Robert Sullivan, an Olympic judo contestant in 1973. They have no children. As of 2018, she is 66 years old and still in good health.
