[Verse 1: Nathan]
Here I am again
Wondering if you're okay
Can't stop this troubled heart 'cause we're apart... miles away
Phone pressed up to my ear, wish you were here, holding me
A face to go with your sweet voice will bring me joy ...totally

[Chorus]
I know I can't be there, baby, it's all right
(But I know it's alright)
I'll be waiting for you tonight (tonight)
I pray that you'll be there when I close my eyes
Meet me in my dreams tonight

[Verse 2: Shawn]
One thing that never changes no matter what
I can't wait to see you
Can't wait to feel you
And there's a place of our own
Where we can go, nobody knows
I close my eyes real tight
And make love to you all night

[Chorus]
I know I can't be there, baby, it's all right
I'll be waiting for you tonight (ooh yeah)
I pray that you'll be there when I close my eyes
Meet me in my dreams tonight

[Bridge: Wanya]
I wish I may, I wish you might
Find sometime when you sleep tonight
To think of me and I'll appear before your eyes
It's my paradise, your world
You're my heart, my life, my girl
Ooh, can't wait to go to sleep
'Cause there's a possibility... you'll meet me...

[Chorus]
I know I can't be there, baby it's all right
(it's okay)
I'll be waiting for you tonight (tonight)
I pray that you'll be there when I close my eyes
Meet me in my dreams tonight (tonight)
I know I can't be there, baby it's all right
(it's alright)
I'll be waiting for you tonight (tonight)
I pray that you'll be there when I close my eyes
Meet me in my dreams tonight

Boyz II Men

Boyz II Men is an R&B vocal quartet from Philadelphia who became the most successful pop group of the 1990s. They’re best known for their passionate ballads, including the number one hits “End of The Road,” “On Bended Knee,” and “I’ll Make Love To You.”

An early version of the group was founded by Nathan Morris in the mid 1980s while attending the Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts, where he recruited students Wanya Morris, Shawn Stockman, and Michael McCary. Singer Marc Nelson was also an early member, but left the group before their big break.

The group—who took its name from New Edition’s song “Boys To Men”—was discovered in 1988 after auditioning for New Edition’s Michael Bivins backstage at a concert. Bivins signed the group to his management company and secured them a contract with Motown Records.
